prepping a bit for the upcoming replacement of 2 large windows, 2 small ones, and the windows in the frontdoor.
Lot of stuff that needs to be moved out of the way, so I do that in bits and pieces.

The rest of the renovation is outdoors only, thank goodness! Although I will very likely get two new sliding doors pretty soon!

Gotta pay rent today.

Going to pick up some stuff to get ready for the family visits this month.
Gotta pick up some lumber for my outside table so everyone will fit.
8 people for three days (2 adults, 4 grandchildren and 2 of their friends).
On the third day the next set arrives...7 more people (2 adults & 5 grandchildren) for 5 days.
At one time, there will be 21 people at my 2 bedroom apartment...(includes my GF & I and my local son's family, him, his wife and two grandchildren)
I'm expecting a madhouse! LOL, its gunna be wonderful!
My daughter and her family can't make it this year. That would have been an additional 5 more people!
I'm hoping it doesn't rain...LOL. The beaches are my friend, if ya know what I mean?

Holy cow! Where's everyone going to sleep???
I got a 3 bedroom house but even I would find it difficult to put up that many people!

OT Watching Wimbledon on telly

Some of the kids will be staying at their uncle's place.
Plus, they reserved a campground spot on the night both families will be here.
I also have two inflatable mattresses and a spare bedroom with a queen sized bed. A sofa and a love seat not to forget a recliner as well.

Its the active periods I'm concerned with. 5 of the kids are teens and two are preteens (expecting attitude clashes). Then the rest are youngins with the youngest at 4 years old.
If it rains, its gunna be...interesting to say the least.
Luckily my kids stay on top of their kids, active parents, if you know what I mean?

The youngest is smart but deviant.
Gunna have to keep him occupied or he will be a handful.
Still, I'm lovin it.
Been way too long since I've seen them all.
We are all excited!

Ah, so it is well-organised haha. And I know what you mean with active parents.

Pick up eggs.

Later (rain forecast) gotta go to Lowes and pick up laminate board to increase the size of two of my table tops (a permanent addition to my patio table and a removeable addition to my kitchen table), will have leftovers which I will use as shelves for my pantry and appliances to free up space.
Pull out and relevel my stove. Also gunna pick up two cheap folding chairs.

Work on my forum website's remodeling project. Restructure is almost done, still gotta purge dead threads and look for new active links.

Dr appt on Wednesday in Biloxi (50 mile drive), gotta check my truck out (oil, water, tires, belt, etc...) I don't drive much anymore. Last month (June 1) I filled it and reset my trip odo, only put 26 miles on it last month. I broke down July 1. The wire rusted off the starter terminal, My son came, resued me and fixed it for me (less than 2 hrs including me walking to the parts store for wire, butt connectors and tape). I can't crawl under it anymore.

This morning I installed felt bumpers to my kitchen cabinet doors so they don't rattle so much when I have surround cranked up for movies/music (been meaning to do this, finally did it).
Today is trash day, changed the HVAC filters and took the trash to the curb.
Did my weekend dishes.
Put Italian hot sausage in the fridge to thaw for dinner.
I still gotta look for my peepee (it might have rolled under the couch?). She doesn't always put it back where she found it after she uses it.
Gotta do laundry, including sofa and love seat covers and the tablecloth.
Gotta go thru my closet for clothing I no longer wear that I can give to my sons.

While I'm in Biloxi I think I'll stop at Save-A-Lot and see if they have any pork riblets, been hankerin for a McRib and found a recipe on Pinterest to make my own. They also have a Big Lots there so I'll check that out to see if there are any good deals available. I'm always on the look-out for kitchen gadgets.

The kids will be here at the end of the month so pretty much, I'm getting my place ready for the visit.
Gunna be two weeks of ...crazy!

Woke up from the smell of something burning/melting so I decided to check it out.
What I see: glass out of the front door and this hunk of a man on his knees in front of it
No fire, so it's safe to get back to bed and catch a little more sleep.

Bit later I get up, get dressed. Then have 3 men in my home Again that good-looking one that was in here yesterday too
Okay, this renovation is a nuisance but getting to see gorgeous muscular dudes in my own home is quite the nice compensation
