Topic: Your eyebrows | |

I use a trimmer to trim facial hair, including side-burns, top of my ears & eyebrows. Don't really have a problem with wayward nose hairs. I have a scar on one eyebrow and used to be very self conscious about it. Would color it in with a black ink pen if I were doing a class or presentation or going out. Not anymore. I have considered getting a yellow star tattooed there (twinkle in my eye), LOL. I never could figure out why some men went for the uni-brow look? I also can't figure out why some older men allow their nose hair to become bushes? If I didn't trim the top of my ears I would resemble a fox (it can get pretty long). I also keep my lips clear of hair, I don't like hair in my food when I eat. When I wear a full beard, I have to keep it clean and brushed. I think food in a beard is disgusting. I once had a box of "Just For Men" facial hair coloring for 4 years till I threw away the unopened box. I just couldn't bring myself to actually do it. I like it when a man takes care of excess hair growth. And it comes with age, but like you say, you don't want a bush out of your nose nor on your ears nor one eyebrow. |

I have thought of buying myself a set with a shaper and that special powder. Not done so yet. The colour I have sussed, it's creating the right shape that I find tricky, hihi. That's why a shaper would come in handy. It is rather nice isn't it?! I gives more expression to your face. My girlie has very light ones and she makes them darker too. I had to get used to it at first, but it looks better to be honest. it is the fashion just now..celebrities, print ads all have the heavy dark brows..but if it is a fad, then in 20 years we will look back and have a good laugh ;-) |

I am slowly cultivating "Andy Rooney" brows.

I get a haircut every 6 weeks and the hairdresser trims mine. Of course she has to use a lawnmower to get the thick hairs.

It can be beautiful when done well. All the divas from yesteryear had strong eyebrows. Think Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn etc. I guess our two strips of hair have more to do with sex appeal than you'd think? |

Not so sure yet about the shapers. |

interesting piece of info is that when a woman is into a man there is more rapid up and down eyebrow movement.... body language is fascinating.... |

When do I "prune" my eyebrows? When I can see them, without looking in a mirror.

I have considered having my eyebrows tinted.

I have considered having my eyebrows tinted. Very interesting indeed! I have given that some thought myself but never looked into it. |

Last couple of days I've used brown eye pencil on my eyebrows to fill them by making them darker, the colour they used to be.
I must say I see a big difference in the mirror. Not like "Oh, my eyebrows are done" but it really enhances my overall looks :) I can do it quite fast now without accidentally going outside of the natural shape so I think I'm going to keep doing this. It really gives more expression to your face! |

I trim mine with clippers to keep them from getting too long.
