Personally I don't see it as "Cuomo killed 15,000 nursing home patients". Many, possibly most, of those elderly people with underlying medical condition would have died. IMO what he is responsible for is exposing people, some who died, to the virus unnecessarily when there other places to put those elderly people who were infected. IMO the Javits Center and the Navy hospital ship should have been used for ALL of the covid positive seniors the nursing homes were forced to admit to their facilities.
I'm not defending Cuomo or his culpability in many nursing home deaths but I'm not going to exaggerate and blame him for ALL of the NY nursing home deaths.

I think he should be responsible for all the COVID deaths that resulted from being originally exposed in the nursing homes because he made it mandatory for nursing homes and some other senior facilities to accept COVID positive patients. His own files accounts for 15,000 plus, that is the real files. The ones he hid and doctored the numbers on was about half that number. The fact that he turned in and reported false reports to the government should be enough to charge him with conspiracy or falsifying documents.

You missed or don't understand the point I was making. If Cuomo is responsible for ALL the deaths in nursing homes because of his policies EVERY other politician is responsible for ALL deaths in nursing homes under their jurisdiction because of their policies. I wasn't defending Cuomo or his policy of forcing nursing homes to admit Covid positive people in their facilities, I'm not defending Cuomo or his administration for manipulating numbers for political purposes. I'm not defending wrongdoing but I'm not going to exaggerate, or downplay, ANYONE"S wrongdoing based on politics or my personal feelings towards a person.

Perhaps it's been discussed, but I'm curious how the democrats reading this, especially the women, feel about their "sister" in the White House, Kamala Harris, remaining COMPLETELY SILENT on the fact that 7 women have now come forward to say they were sexually harassed by Gov. Cuomo.

I know you weren’t defending him. But to say he shouldn’t be held accountable doesn’t make since to me. It was his choice to make the nursing homes take back covid positive patients which in turn would infect the nursing home patients that weren’t already testing positive for covid. Cuomo had other facilities at his disposal which would not endanger others. I would say the same for Governor Whitmier , and any others who showed their ignorance by mixing positive and non- positive patients. Clearly their fault. And I wasn’t saying all deaths only covid deaths.and I’m not saying this because of politics( that’s the Democrats M.O.. I say this because it happens and is the truth.

Number 8 as of today! The latest accusation comes from an aid still working for Cuomo . She witnessed the Governor groping another aid that has already come forward with her accusations. There are a few Democrats asking for his resignation. I don’t blame the Governor for not resigning, innocent until proven guilty. It’s called Due Process Maybe a better idea would be to do like police depts. do when an officer is involved in a shooting. A leave of absence until after a investigation or trial. I think he is guilty as hell on both scandals surrounding him. I wish the Democrats would have had this attitude during the Kavanaugh confirmation. Fairness is something the Democrats canceled years ago.

Hi Bastet, the attitude that they were all so sure that he was guilty after 1 accusation from a women that didn’t know when she was assaulted, where she was assaulted and the person she said was with her when the assault took place denied knowing anything about it. And the democrats attitude was still ruin him and his family. Now after 8 women have leveled accusations against him you hear very little about this from the same people. If Kavanaugh was unfit to be confirmed for the Supreme Court then why aren’t they saying Cuomo is unfit for Governor.

Today there was a vigil for nursing home deaths from Covid in NYC with a temporary "wall of remembrance" with pictures to honor those who died.
IMO if Cuomo really cared about those who died in nursing homes and had a shred of decency he would have been there.....which says a lot about him.


I did a Google search for "NYC vigil for nursing home deaths"......NOT ONE article about the NYC vigil for nursing home deaths in the first 2 pages.....all but one article was about NYC vigils for the Asians killed in Atlanta which should be there since it's news. Why didn't Google find it "news worthy" enough to be on page 1 or 2 of my search?????

I did a Bing search and the first article was about the nursing home vigil.....but the second article was titled "Nursing home directive didn't lead to COVID deaths, NY" and was from Feb. 26th.

I'm Italian and I can tell that your suggestion that his actions are result of him being Italian or a New Yorker have NOTHING to do with his actions. There are both soft spoken and arrogant people in my ITALIAN family. There are both generous and self serving people in my ITALIAN family. There are people who help other ITALIAN family members and those who won't lift a finger to help anyone including THEIR ITALIAN family members. There are social parasites and hard working people in my ITALIAN family.

Cuomo actions, his arrogance, his misconduct regarding ANY issue ISN'T a result of his heritage, his wealth or his residency.
