So Bruce Springsteen gets pulled over for driving under the influence , but now we hear any charges will be dropped because he wasn’t that impaired. And it’s Bruce, outspoken opponent of Donald Trump. I’m scratching my head on this one , anybody else would have been arrested and the media would set out to start a shame campaign against them. I don’t care who you are , if your drinking while driving than your a danger to yourself and others. No lenience on charges.

He wasn’t pulled over for driving under the influence. He was standing in a national park, that prohibited alcohol, and was observed having a shot of alcohol. He admitted to having two shots of tequila and blew a .02, with .08 being the legal limit. He was fined $500 for the closed park violation.
I never condone drinking and driving, but it sounds more like you want him to face charges just because he is the boss. Not all roads lead back to your political party support. |

I'm no fan of Springsteen's politics.
I'm no fan of ANYONE being treated more harshly or given leniency because of their political beliefs or celebrity status. If a law or rules he broke or ignored call for a fine then that is the punishment that should be imposed. Nothing more, nothing less. |
