Nothing. Both my first and last name mean "messenger from the gods". I like that :) Can't be coincidence. Why mess with what was given me when it is so beautiful?
And I happen to really like my first name. |

My first and middle names have generational significance.
They are important to me. Not only am I named after my father and grandfather, my children are as well. Even my daughter is named after her grandmother and my mother & sister. My first borns (male/female) have two middle names. My second son is named after a good friend of mine who died and my father. My 3rd son is named after his mother's family. I'm very creative in thinking of names (in general). Pet names too. Dog named "Porkchop", twin cats named "Meat" & "Taters"...stuff like that. I also make lists of names for people thinking of names for their kids. A few I like are: Teela, Teelan Brot, Bropha Iridea, Iddy Peal, Pealston Dineelia, Diney Raldom, Ralt Celci, Selsy Ecklam, Eckles ...and so on. I have a granddaughter named "Autumn Rain" which I thought was unique. Over the years' I've had many nicknames and screennames which were equally creative. One such screenname was "Ibu" which is the first three letter in the word IBUprofen but also say "I Be You". I find many creative names in movies and shows I watch. Especially in the science fiction & fantasy genres. |

I changed my full name back in 2001, first middle and last. I wouldn't change it again.
My birth names, first, middle, and last, mean moon goddess, lake and keeper of wine. And my chosen names means forever young, messenger from God or angel, and wise one or prophet. It's funny I never checked out the meanings of the names I chose, until today. How fitting all of my names are, except my last name at birth since I no longer drink, haha. |

I would never have to change me name.
I get called Juan, or ironically, "Paco", by quite a few of my friends with roots South of the border. My friends from Eastern Europe, tend to call me, Ivan, Van, Vanechka, and probably a few words I shouldn't post on a PG13 site. Xian, Han, Hans, Johan, Johannes. I get called them all. Why on God's green Earth, would I need to change my name? There are so many versions of the name I already have. |
