A person is guilty of incest when he or she marries or engages in

Establishes the crimes of incest in the first, second or third degree as separate criminal offenses depending on the severity and nature of the underlying sexual offense.
Incest in the third degree is a class E felony, incest in the second degree is a class D felony, and incest in the first degree is a class B felony. All three offenses require registration as a sex offender.

so given this is going to be a felony, more then likely it will be 5 years of probation, register as a sex offender, 5 years of counceling and weekly social services visits for atleast that amount of time. if they feel like making an example which i doubt since it's not a high profile case, it could be jail time in which case the child will be taken into foster care or possibly sent to a relative and minimum suprvised visits.

so her 2 choices are either pretty much screwed or royally screwed.
