To discriminate against scars to akin to any other sort of discrimination. We have them, we are human. Nuff said.

I grew loadsa stretch marks from pregnancy. And to me, they're scars because they will never go away. And they aint mysterious in any way. Rofl.

I had a scar on my butt from when I was a kid. And last year my partner told me I had a scar just above my butt. He took a pic' and I couldn't believe it. It's about 2 inches long and I never know! Lol.

I have a scar on my wrist from trying to get my cat to the vet a couple of years ago. Looks like I tried to top myself.

Also got a chicken pock mark on my forehead.

A caesarean scar on my belly.

And two scars on my feet from flip flops.

Scars don't effect the "attractivness" of a person to me. Although I do find it kinda interesting when I notice a scar on someone, I wonder what the story is behind that scar. I have scars all over my body, including my face, although many are not really noticable.

dated a girl in my younger years who was shot in the face with a flare gun, I never saw the scars i saw a person i cared for, unfortunatly we were young and had a big fight and said things we did not mean ( nothing about the scars) and split up, still think about her from time to time, we lost touch

never and any one who does is in my mind very shallow.
and besides scars are like badges of honor we have earned them so we should get to wear them with pride

Heck with anyone that can't see past something superficial like scars. Emotional scarring is way more scary!

Plus as said before it is a conversation starter. A friend of mine once said that a scar he had from a car accident was from a knife fight. This was the last guy that you would ever expect to be in a knife fight.

Most of mine are covered by clothes, but they are there and there is no shame about them.

And I hate to say Chief is right, but his is. They do rock and are nature's tattoos. Ahhhh, going to go bang my head against my keyboard. I agreed with the young PUA.

I think they are sexy, personally. I just got my first scar recently. HUGE surgical scar on my ankle/leg. Generally I have pretty good looking legs and Im kind of freaked out about this one. But I dont see myself staying with anyone who cant see past that, or my huge Italian nose for that matter. =)

I wouldnt trade it for the world. The nose was an issue when I was younger, but ive grown into it. And Im proud of my heritage...except for the bits we dont ever talk about
