She won't do it, don't break up with her, just get another girlfriend and tell her you want her and the other girl too, this will make her so made she will be the one to leave, works most of the time.

My ex used to always pull that crap on me. Eventualy I just broke up with her anyway, no point in putting up with all the BS;^]

so for her to tell you she'll do it..is only a way to guilt you into staying...

I do agree with getting a new girlfriend.

Personally - I wouldnt play with fire by saying you want two women. That still encourages her because you're still saying you want her.

Talk to her family and tell them what she has said before, and let her family take it from there.

Move on and cut the tie permanently. Anything else will encourage her there is hope.

i was seeing a guy this summer, and he got drunk, and called me a c*nt. I was pissed, so I tired to leave. he said if i left he was going to go jump off the dam into the river. calling his bluff, i offered to drive him down there myself since it was about a half mile walk.

it still worries you that they are for real, but most are not and just looking for attention. if you think she is serious, call the cops and tell them she is suicidal, they can keep her for 24 hours for an evaluation.

my ex used to threateen to kill herself often, until I went and got the gun and gave it to her and told her to get it over with or quit threatening. That was the end of the killing herself threats. She just wanting attention and her own way, I suspect. If she in fact kills herself, no fault of yours; we cannot control others actions. Just do what you feel is best for you in this case

Personally, I'd probably call the bluff by saying something like: "Considering your comment about wanting to end your life over a break up, I feel very strongly that I need to let someone know about this." Then let her know that you'll tell her parents of her threat, and perhaps law enforcment (who will haul her off if they think she's serious.)

Chances are she'll take back her words but if she doesn't you can then let someone know so that you've done the human part of this right. Then, run like the wind, man. I agree with most people here; chances are it's a form of attention she is seeking but I don't imagine any of us would want that on our minds.
