then please dont feel that i am ridiculing or targeting heavy set women, my mother has a saying, those in glass houses should not throw stones. I am most definately not one to cast a stone. I do not for a moment believe the size of a woman makes the beauty of a woman.

Keep in mind with the lap band and other bariatric surgery it is still a lifestyle change. Many gain the weight back because they do not change their lifestyle.

Thanks for the support on this one Shananigans19.
I think all people should be treated EQUAL, despite their size, color, religion, sexual origin, or whatever the case. People are people, nothing more, nothing less. We should all be treated EQUAL by everyone. PMS |

shananigans... if i aspelled that right, first off, let me introduce my self, i am ron, brennen is my wonderful son. Secondly, thank you for your input. Thirdly, im not really worried about feeling "pushed off," i more or less bit off more than i could chew. I wanted to see how many women would responde, and what they would say. Try to catch a few of my responses to the others.

And ALLSmiles, I do know that, and that is what, I want lots of different changes in my life. I need that right now. |

i agree, and i have looked into surgeries as well. But in the end i have become secure with who i am , is it really to much to ask for a woman who feels the same? wether she is big or small? i am sorry if any one felt i was trying to be insensitive, the truth is i lack tact.

theres no insecurities here. Atleast none weight related. thank you for your input though

OK, I'll have to agree with that one, you do lack tact.
I am secure with who I am, but there is also nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself. And that is what I want for myself. I also want to be able to buy nice, and pretty clothes off a rack at a store that does not say Plus Size behind the store name. Yes, I am big, but that does not mean I like being this way, and now that I can do something about it, I intend to do just that. |

Hi Ron, and welcome to JSH! |

well most certainly not!! I would never wish you anything short of best wishes and best of luck on your journies! I very heavily believe in self help , and self improvements, which is why in my life i have recently taken steps to better my life. I may weigh 350 now, but i use to weigh a little over 400, so keep in mind, your preaching to the choir. And the fact that people are portraying me as some kid of jack ass truly and genuinely hurts.

thank you sir....... all i have to say as far as this whole mess goes, is i should have known better!! lol

Congrats on your weight loss, I am truely happy for you. At least you do know how hard losing the weight is.
BUT, when one fat person says to another I'm too good to date you because your fat. That's just sooooo wrong in so many ways. You should know better. You don't want your feeling stepped on, yet you have no problems stepping on other's feelings. I just don't even know what else to say to you, that is so wrong. When I do finally get thinner, I will never date anyone with an attitude like yours, it sucks. PMS |
