It seems many people are experiencing strange dreams during this Pandemic lockdown. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/video_and_audio/headlines/52354371/coronavirus-dreams-why-are-people-having-lockdown-nightmares Have you had any strange dreams, or heard of anyone experiencing them during this lockdown? |

I have been having a lot of dreams lately. One that went on and on was about my hairdresser. I don't remember details but it seemed to be a very lengthy dream.
I do need a haircut as do many people. |

Thank you all for the replies, nice to hear the dreams are all good. I never remember my dreams must be my age. |

I have some really strange dreams.
I fly sometimes, I folded up a building and put it in my pocket, I've been a woman, animal and alien. I've had families I never met. I am aware of dust and breeze, the wetness of water. I NEVER have nightmares or frightening dreams anymore. |

I have a couple of times, beginning of April I think. Not necessarily scary, but intense dreaming.
Had nothing whatsoever to do with lockdown, but with the powerful portal activation we had, mostly in April I believe. And yes, these of course continue as normal, lockdown or no. But not related to it in any way. Portal activation bring in very high energies and can always result in dreaming, and you do not have to know about these portals. It works nonetheless. About 2 weeks ago there was something that caused high energies to come, and especially affect us at night. So it's all logical that many dream more, but again, not related to lockdown itself. |

I am not really locked down ... I still do what I normally do ... do miss going to the movies and having a dinner out sometimes and seeing my thrift store lady's ... but other then that ... my home has always been my sanctuary ... so I don't miss a whole lot ... not afraid of being alone ... as they say a women's work is never done ... keeping up with it ...after being older kinda S*cks
I always have some strange dreams... I do not need the paramedic to help that along ... when there nightmare or something really stupid or nice dreams ... I always try and figure them out ... I try to understand my subconscious... sometime easy... sometimes hard ... |

Actually, the recurrent nightmare I had
been having for years, came to an abrupt halt, in early March of this year. No strange dreams for me. |

I've been having strange dreams before the pandemic lockdown, nothing unusual these days.

Thanks for all the comments, at least it seems no nightmares, and I hope it's mostly sweet dreams. |

I always have weird dreams -extremely colorful, too.
I was recently walking in and around a mall looking for my mom -then out into the city at night. I think I miss my mom. Then there was one with my insurance guy -it was weird, but as boring as talking to an insurance guy. I get a bit anxious about the state of the world when awake, but don't really have bad dreams about it. |

I have not had any bad dreams. I think I am sleeping better because I don't have to get up for work. Working from home now.

I think the definition of "strange" is relative. What I consider strange you may consider normal.
Last night I had this one with these cuddly fuzzy teddy bears. They were all running around the wooded forest where their village was, and they had these balloons on their arms. Whenever they got into a sticky wicket, the balloon would carry them off away from the danger. It was all working out well until the guy in the bowler hat showed up and started shooting the balloons as the bears tried to escape from his influence. Then Charlie Chaplin showed up and started beating the bowler guy over the head with his cane and took away his gun. At that point the bears all came back and tore the man apart... |

I had this dream where Pac Man was chasing me. Think he was getting back at me for all those times I allowed those ghosts to get him.

I had quite an involved, episodic dream the other night that was like a Jack Vance travelogue across a vast continent. At one point I arrived at a walled city with quite a few other people. I turned to someone nearby and asked 'Do you know anything about these people? Are they hostile to strangers?' to which they replied 'no idea. Here's a thought though. I'll wait here while you ask that local over there. That way, we'll both know'.

Strange or unusual dreams are something I have always had, so with me they are not pandemic related. Sadly mine when they come are not always good, a reasoned one had me watching a Military Convoy in a War Zone. No, I did not watch a war movie before it. Just felt pulled towards it, to witness what was going on.
