Afraid. I was lying in bed last night and was suddenly hit by a terrible foreboding. It's still with me now, in the pit of my stomach. No reason, it just happened as though I was witnessing something violent or terrible.

Plumber phoned to say that my bathroom refurbishment will be going ahead soon. It was supposed to start the day before lockdown and was therefore cancelled so I’m really happy that it’ll get done soon.

I just woke up so I don't know yet.

Not the same but I'm now avoiding one route on the road because everytime I approached one intersection, I keep getting a panic feeling and see in a flash a truck running the stop sign and t boning me.... been driving it for years never had any problems, never felt this way before.
Wondering if it's just with all that's going on in the world, our fears are needing a outlet?

Good! Going to see my son this afternoon. Not seen him in a long time, and curious about his arm after he had that accident a while back. The cast is finally off now!

And hoping I won't feel queasy when I see my son's arm. I can handle a lot, have even seen surgeries in the operating theatre during my medical study, but this is my son, my flesh and blood!
When he sent me a photo of the pins in his arm I got a tad lightheaded too, hihi. A big no no no NO NOOOOOOOO!! NOT my kid!!! Oh well...

Delightful & KitKat.... thank you!! It did go well hihi. He told me he'd taken off the cast himself a day before it should be done in hospital as it was getting so horribly smelly. He said it was all yukkie because the pins had gotten infected/inflamed. Which is why I'd told him 10 days earlier to go back and have it replaced. Mummy knows alien objects -incl stitches- can get infected/inflamed let alone pins. (he's on antibiotics still).
And when he took off the cast one of the pins fell out of his arm.
Couple of huge scars... not the thing a mum likes to see. But thank goodness he's all right, although movements of his hand/wrist are limited. There's a permanent plate on his wrist but hopefully it'll improve.
