not really.it is said sex is healthy, which means if u are not having sex then ure missing out in terms of health Depends on what you do yourself and how you live your life. As long as you're not suppressing your sexual feelings and live a full, active, happy life. Sex can also be unhealthy if you have it just for sex, unless you really want it and feel 100% good about it. Sex being healthy is more when you make love with someone you have a deep connection with. For most it isn't like that, that's why it can be damaging, especially for a woman. |

not really.it is said sex is healthy, which means if u are not having sex then ure missing out in terms of health Sex is sex. Making love is better. If you are a virgin, why not keep your virginity for someone you care about? I had a friend ask me the same thing. I advised her to wait. Hell, I can be celibate for over 10 years and it was not 'unhealthy' for me. To the contrary, I protected my mind, my emotions and my body from unhealthy associations. I seriously do not believe being a virgin is unhealthy. I believe it is healthy. You are not vulnerable to std's, pregnancy and wayward emotions to those who only want sex with you, but nothing else. Ask yourself, why do you not prize your virginity and give it to a relationship where love reigns? Take care of yourself, educate yourself, get informed and good on you for your courage in asking. |

I couldn't agree more on the thing about emotions, STDs, but I do not agree with the view on remaining a virgin for that reason. That belief is the old paradigm where a woman's value as marry-able cattle depended on their virginity. Those days have gone. We are worthy, and should be seen as such, respected for who we are, not defined by a hymen that's still intact. A woman should choose herself when she has sex for the first time. A hymen is not a gift to a man or a relationship. A woman opening up to a man is a gift each and every time. I'm not posting this to argue with you, but to give a new paradigm view, based on love and respect for women as opposed to us being interesting sex cattle based on being a virgin. |

Yes. It's common knowledge in medical practice: "if you don't use it, you'll lose it." Related, during the time of oceanic exploration it was common for sailors to be trapped alone on deserted islands after a shipwreck. They'd go so long without talking their mouths would seal shut. That's how Darwin realized why human beings had noses and mouths. Redundancy to make sure an organism can always breathe. There's a reason why vibrating marital aids are sold in "health and beauty on Amazon. .it is said sex is healthy, which means if u are not having sex then ure missing out in terms of health
That's right, you are. Because there are no alternatives offering aerobic exercise, weight training, or emotional triggering. |

People are animals (certainly not plants).
On this planet, there is a natural cycle to animal life. Birth Puberty Reproduction Death There is a biological need to reproduce. To continue an organism's genetic signature thru time. Humans reproduce (naturally) by having sex. Sex feels good for humans. It is pleasing. It triggers processes and chemicals which affect our mood in positive ways. So much so, we try to do it again and again as long as we are able. Then, we die. Humans though, have an intellectual capacity which allows them to live past their life function of reproduction. Sex becomes an emotional playground or roller coaster of delight. It no longer exists merely for reproduction. The orgasm becomes the focus. Making love includes the act of sex but emotionally significant. It often involves reproduction but its focus is on pleasing another and sharing physical unity and emotional sensitivity with them. This "union of souls" fortifies the sense of well-being. Healthy soul/healthy mind yields healthy body. Sex can be addicting. Like all addictions, it can become perverted. Like all addictions, it can become unhealthy. It can cause you to make poor decisions in its pursuit. It can entice you to do things you normally would not do. Going 'cold turkey' can have devastating effect on your mood. You can fall into a hole of depression. Some people are wise enough to understand cold turkey doesn't really work. They learn to substitute the unhealthy addiction to sex with the sustenance of sharing love. Making love becomes the 'fix'. In life, you will find people walking both paths. Choose wisely but understand the wise choice must be constantly monitored for changes in your priorities so you don't mindlessly fall into an addiction you really didn't want. I know quite a few virgins who passed menopause. They are bitter and often very lonely. Virginity is not naturally fatal but it robs you of something wonderful. |

Yes ma'am, sex can be healthy because it burns calories and a great way to stay in shape.
