Thank you, and yes, certainly will get a place on the wall :) Not sure yet where though but the wall behind me is currently empty. I might just hang up a few of my recent works there, including Bailey's painting (His one is too small to put there on its own.)

The Viking ship has just started a voyage, haha. It sold within 2 hours! I put it online on a dating site of all places, so not a market place, nor with the intent to sell it. Someone loved it and bought it right away.
Didn't haggle, I mentioned the price, he paid, done deal

I notice the work I'm doing of late speaks to more people than the paintings I did before.
First one I ever sold went to the US. Sale went the same way as the Viking ship: she fell in love with it, just paid for it and the shipping cost without issue.
It's great to sell, it's recognition of course, but also helps to keep me going as I do have to buy canvas, paint etc. And I don't use cheap paint & canvas like you'd get from the Action. Way more affordable, but not great to work with for me, plus if I do sell I want the assurance that pigments will last a long time.
Since I spent a lot of money on paint stuff of late it really helps to have sold one now, haha.

Fun to paint! I went a bit overboard with the sparkles and dots and making most a neon colour, but that's a matter of taste, and I love it

Tomorrow I'll widen the bottoms steps a tiny bit. I didn't see I should've done that until I'd cleaned everything up, and I was too tired to get going again now.

Pearl. Maybe call it "My Precious", hihi. I LOVE pearls and it was a challenge to paint one, not only because of the pearl but also getting the shell right.

The colours are brighter yet softer when you see it with your own eyes. The camera can't capture that properly, unfortunately.
But it's another one that leaves me kind of speechless, thinking, "Wow, did I make that?!?!"

Finally finished my painting today, Go With the Flow!
Started it in 2016 but got stuck with the right hand part of it. After 4-5 failed attempts I decided yesterday to give it one final go.
And... it worked out!! I couldn't believe it!
I'm very happy with it now and am going to put it up in the extension :)

It conveys what Abraham Hicks always says, "Go with the flow! Everything you want is always downstream, never upstream. So drop the oars and go with the flow!!"
That's why she's standing up and why there are no oars: she's choosing to go with the flow, downstream. The path of least resistance.

I started this as I wanted a reminder of that for myself.
Getting a good photo is difficult as it's approx 1.40m wide!
