I do hope that the effexor can help you. I myself cant take antidepressents, so that one was out for me. i tried it but they make my manic worse. Good luck with that.

i have been on effexor for about a month now, like i said it helps with depression and a little with agitation but i still get the agitation and was just wondering if there is anything else i can suggest to my dr, as i have been on paxil, pexeva, lexapro and now effexor.

All I know on effexor is just the commercial. Did like nurse told me to do and didn't answer the phone when she called so I could stay home last night. All I did was answer was answer a call from my friend and she said there is someone who wants to talk to you. So I said, "Hello" and it was the nurse asking me to come in. I just can't win. Even the old lady's friend thought that was dirty pool. But later I took the old lady's friend home because the old lady had to go to the hospital. Doctor told her she was stressed out. I sure could relate. Fixing to give up the fight in not getting a credit card or debit card. Figure I will get the debit card so I can have satellite, again. I love living out in the boonies but the reception is terrible. I hope all are having a good day.

kntrygal1964 you can ask for a mild sedative like ativan or klonipin or maybe xanax. The worst that can happen is they say no.

My friend, Tina was complaining of an equilibrium problem and said she had a punchured ear drum. When I took Jennifer home this morning the word back was that Tina according to her doctor was suffering from stress. Jennifer thought there was something more to it than just stress. I agreed with her. I don't understand how stress can cause bleeding from her ear.

it can take time to get the right anti depressant for you. it took over a year intil i found the right one. i had problems with prozac, seroxat, venaflaxine, amitriptiline, and theres more. in the end i felt most settled on citalopram 60mg, and they changed me to cipralex 20mg thats the maximium dose, basically its a purer version of the citalopram, so it helps better.

Hi, Debbie. I knew it was time to go home this morning. I was trying to get my weekly vitals on a resident. I was using a tympanic temperature probe and the nurse on a stick so I could get her temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate and respiration. I didn't have any trouble getting to go to the bathroom or getting her dressed except she didn't want to take her gown off. I thought fine. I will just dress her over the gown. But when I asked the nurse if I could put the cuff around her neck and told the resident that we don't have to put the temperature probe in her ear that we could do a rectal temperature probe I knew it was time to go home.

also the reason i didnt advise anyone else, is because when i was in hopital,a patient gave another patient some advice, and he hung himself. so now im to scared to tell anyone anything.

(((Roy))) thank you for the very interesting reply. Didn't know any of that stuff but have always wondered. I will be fine. Doc is taking care of this and I will be going back to school Monday, be it high or not. Kinda wondering what my perception will be while high on meds. My art might get better and then it might get worse. Who the hell knows. I know anything that has to do with writing and I'm fuccked. But I will put on the fake smile and try not to let on that Im high as a kite and confuzzled as hellfire. Thank you everyone for being so supportive. Lubyas. hey tim leary did his best work on acid hee hee |

The worst that can happen is they say no. i thought those were strong sedatives?? so what are the strong ones then?? it depends on the dose.i take a small dose of klonopin for my panic attacks and i can still go on with my day. |

Good idea, Jax. I finished painting the kitchen, today. But since I took everything off the countertops I will have to start on the load of dishes in the sink and clean off the kitchen table because it became a catch all. Then I can empty out the cabinets and spray for bugs, again. Since I got back behind the refrigerator painted I will able to get some hot Pinesol to the kitchen floor. Will be deleting a nightstand; A curio cabinet and what they call a slider chair that is kind of like a rocking chair. What I am working on now is the theory of less instead of more is better. Just too much stuff in a small house. If I had a truck I could haul some of it off. But then what would I do with it? This place is definately less depressing but still a work in progress. But then I am still a work in progress, too.
