Make sure you have gigabit internet router, proper gigabit capable cables for faster speed (over 100mbs) -also lan card on your pc. No point getting 200mbs if your stuff only handles 10 or 100 I got their latest model modem. If a modem couldn't handle it they'd have to provide new ones. They have been replacing the old model for newer WiFi models and will have made sure they can handle a lot to save cost of having to replace again. BUT... I'm going to ask my son about this. I just checked and I have 200DL which is correct, and 20 Up, which should be 50 now. I already had 200 D, they upgraded the upload, and I only got 5Mbps more, not 35 more. Thanks for pointing this out! I had not thought of that! |

I just got called by my provider, sheer coincidence. I asked about the upload speed. It has to do with the current situation and most everyone being home, either working online at home or using the net for entertainment. So they now evened it out at 20Mbps. After this situation has gone it will go up to 50 as promised :) |
