How diplomatic of you yoke!!!  Im not so sure I would have said it so nicely........ppl piss me off with their negativity......whiners....now if they would just stop and look in the mirror and quit blaming everyone and everything for the reason why they can't attract someone, then maybe they would figure it out......
LOL I was drinking General Foods International Coffees and had a chick flick a running when I wrote that....   I am now watching a war flick and gearing up for an exciting evening...
Afraid it would take alot more than mirrors there Gypsy.....

I too do not see why the need to generalize, bad in all people exists. Some are so shallow they cannot see past their mirror image to the deep issues underneath. This applies both ways. And as for the not getting a second date consider it a blessing, if they are not meant for you, better to find out sooner than later, or at least that is how I take it.

Thanks All! I appreciate getting some feedback other than the fact that I can't spell worth a damm. lol
Yes, I am probably expecting too much too soon. And it is true that lack of a second date is most likely a good thing. I DO NOT intend to generalize when I speak of Men. I know that Men are as varied as Women. I am just Very frustrated with the whole "dating" thing. It kind of feels like someone changed the rules and didn't tell me.

well to be honest the dating seen has changed, most people on these dating sites are not looking for anything long term, just sex, and the ones that are looking for something long term are holding people to unreasonable expectations, almost as if they are gods gift to man/woman. just keep trying, just try and be upfront with everything on your profile(example,your opening picture should be of you, not a logo), and declare what you want, and be honest about everything, flaws, appearances, personal info(no one likes someone who tries to decieve them), your doing fine just keep trying, if online dating was easy, everyone would be doing it, and i wouldn't still be single, so keep trying...

I have met a couple of guys both here and on another site. But I never get a second date. (and the ones I DO get are not my type) We seemed to have a good time and, I didnt sleep with them but, there is never a second date. Am I doing something wrong? Am I expecting too much too soon? I have been out of the dating scene for a long time... Have things changed so much since then? Advice Is Welcome! Were just problems in general...
