At the moment, I'm browsing the forums. What I have just done is enjoy a bracing walk to and from my Doctor's Practice to drop off my prescription for eyedrops for the coming month. It's four miles in total but the bus service is very infrequent and I enjoy the exercise.

It's four miles in total but the bus service is very infrequent and I enjoy the exercise. Holy moly, a 4 mile walk Infrequent bus services are horrible. We got that here too on the islands, backwater country.

We got that here too on the islands, backwater country. I did exactly the same thing yesterday as well, when I collected the eyedrops. You can time it to get the bus down to the Practice but then you have to walk back home two miles anyway unless you want to wait for an hour and I don't have the patience for that.
