not the same thing but hate is not the opposite of love either.
the opposite of love is indifference or apathy. |

ok then why can hate make you cry as hard as love and feel emotions that you can not control, i could love my brother and hate him also is this not the same thing?

I dont hate anything.
I dont have that intense all encompassing, can't think of anything else, elevated heart rate, blood rushing to the face, temperature rising, Type of emotion at all. Well actually I do.... ... but it is called love. |

love is to hate as worship is to despise
they both motivate you intensely but that is all they have in common |
|
|

mmmm agree to disagree i say the have emotions in common but accept your believe

well i do think that it is true that love can produce intense anger and even hatred. but i think it is not reciprocal since hatred cannot produce contentedness or love. also, i would say that if love does produce anger and/or hatred, that this love is tainted by jealousy and ego. true love is marked by the absence of jealousy and ego i think and therefore does not give rise to anger, resentment and hatred. |

I agree, true love is not obligating, and is without conditions.
Hate is about conditions, and expectations, and limiting. |

I would say you cant truely hate someone/something until you have loved it.
