Well they say there's a big one coming this weekend. At least on this side of the globe.

Well they say there's a big one coming this weekend. At least on this side of the globe.

It's actually almost as far from us as it can get, so it isn't close (Super moon) at all.
But it's going to appear big as the moon sets at 8 (over here) and half an hour later the moon rises. Then there's still red and some blue in the air and dust particles, making the moon quite orange and appear bigger than it is.
Not sure how that is in the US, I guess pretty much the same.

me too, Grace. I was so nervous, I almost had an accident and I couldn't parallel park. Of course I failed lol

OT: I cannot forget the first time I saw snow. My roommate and I ran outside in our pajamas to feel snow. So exciting.

Extra points though, if the examiner
was stammering at the end of the ride.
And, their knuckles were 'ash white'.

I can't forget the operations I had from 7 to 9 years old. Anesthesia got me feeling sick.

Back in the 70's, I think they only used gas to knock you out for operations. I still remember that taste and think I almost died because I was given too much.
