Just ordered a kevlar vest incase it gets out of hand Might want to do a bit more research on Kevlar versus alternatives depending on what you are afraid of. I read years ago about a Darwin Awards recipient who was a security guard and bet a co-worker that his Kevlar vest was also knife proof. It wasn't and he died.

Maybe chainmail AND Kevlar??? I think that may make a little improvement, but I was kind of thinking to put shoulder straps on one of those old wood burning potbelly stoves.
