Tells us, how much we rely on the internet these days... I rely on it an awful lot. Mostly cos of my neck injury. I can't be busy doing the stuff I always did all day long. For me sitting behind PC is relaxing for my neck. So without internet I go kinda mental as then I'm twiddling thumbs pretty much, haha. In the past I used to curl up on the settee and read a good book or read at the table. Can't do that anymore. I do do a lot of other stuff, but cannot do it non-stop. So internet/pc is quite the life saver, hihi In your case, it's understandable. For going out, talking to people, can not be replaced by the likes of FB. Well, I am so old fashioned So thanks to Mikey for breaking Mingle I began to do more and more online and/or on PC in 2006 when I'd started a web-shop. I worked long hours, not all online, but a lot was, including purchase abroad. Now it's almost everything, radio, tv, educating myself, giving courses, attending courses/webinars, and what not.

You're in Colchester, right? I looked up where that is, didn't know. So it's close to Southminster and Maldon. I been there, got friends in Southminster. And as good as opposite of where I am. But it would be quite the swim, lol

cats chorus Yes Maldon is about 10 miles away, Harwich about 15 miles where the ferry goes to the hoek, that's a 7 hour crossing, you'll never swim it And the irish sea is very rough!
