I see so many profile pics where they look a lot older than the claimed age,it must lead to a lot of let downs and meet once awkward situations?

I see no point in lying about one's age, because if you start to hang out with, devlope a relationship with the person...you'll know their real age anyway..so, why start out on a lie?

Also, the guys who put fake ages on their profile, they claim so older women can "find them"..

If and older woman WANTED to date a guy 20-30 years younger, she can jolly well do a search for guys in that age range herself...

My friend was on a dating site many years ago and she took 4 yrs off her age due to her being a teacher and didn't want her students to recognise her. She met a guy from the site and she told him her true age on the second date. He's 4 yrs younger than she is so he thought she was the same age. Long story short, they're now happily married!

But as in Broadway plays, sometimes understudies can get work if the main star gets sick, or is otherwise not available. Just have to know your lines and positions (keep flexible).

So, I joined this chatroom, about 20 years ago and the minute
you entered they all ask "ASL"? (Age, Sex, Location.)

This struck me as bizarre so I never answered and most of the
chat members were younger than myself. So it became a 'thing'
to try and discover my age...everyone guessed, based solely
on my chat history.

Concensus was, I was a 20 year old college student doing a thesis
(I have always asked a million questions) as I am very naïve too.

Finally, I put up an untouched pic.
Concensus remained the same hahahahahahaha.
Then I told them my age.
They refused to believe it.

My point is this.
I am the same person I always was but other's perceptions actually
mark who you are. And if your picture does not align with your
words, that will be worked out..sooner or later ;-)

I tell ladies all the time that I am 12 year old trapped inside a 45 year old man's body.

Not a porn "star", but I have done some work as a stunt double, which may explain why my photo makes me look much younger.
