Hope the popcorn is about ready!! A women that is highly capable and can be an equal partner that can be respected is ideal!! The other extreme is a submissive. A women who accepts that her capabilities are limited and requires some level of supervision. She needs to be respected for her acceptance and an effort made to provide for her and help her grow in her capabilities. Her opinion should always be solicited and an explanation provided especially when it isn't accepted. The same should be the situation with a male submissive. The real issue is those who are neither. They think they are equal and have a difficult time accepting direction. When a decision is made that they do not support, they cannot be trusted to do what has been decided. They are incapable of being that trusted equal partner but they are unwilling to accept their situation. These are people you cannot be in a productive relationship with and need to be avoided at all costs for they will destroy you!! The 3rd situation is where the 2 in a relationship are co-dependent and can accept that. They tend to struggle with life because neither is really capable but usually the 2 are stronger than each on their own. Both give it their best effort to make life work, respect each other, and work together for their mutual benefit. This requires that both have some level of capability and are willing to help each other.

From what I have read on this forum, none of these ladies have the word submissive in their vocabulary. These ladies are strong and stand their ground! They could turn the tides and beat most men into submission!!! The older the ladies here, the more confident they are and they will never be submissive!

It takes more than intelligence, it also takes a certain psychological make up to be that equal partner. Just because someone is intelligent, it does not give them abilities or common sense in life!
