Well since I’m older, I’ve done all that stuff, career, kids etc. Now I’ve decided that it’s time to enjoy myself as much as I can considering I’m caring for an adult grandchild. So my priority is to have fun and it’s better shared. So I did put effort into finding someone and I am surprised But he found me and it’s awesome. I'm truly happy for you! This is the guy from the "Soulmate" card, right? Absolutely great that it's working out so well :) And yes, not having that desire/need to have kids etc. is quite a relief in a way, isn't it. Not to knock it, it's all part of the big circle of life, haha.

I agree with JustBeHonest except I'm not actively looking for a partner. I, too, am enjoying the single life and now focusing on me after being with my ex for 38 yrs. I worked hard and retired 6 yrs ago. If, in the future, someone comes along then I'd be open to that but I'm not in any rush. That's good! I can sometimes find it difficult to not feel pressured because of age. But you can't force it. When the time is ripe :) |

Finding love is not at the top of my priorities. If it comes along that's fine. I'm not really looking, I have had three marriage proposals in person. Unfortunately, they weren't the right men for Me. I have had a good career. Now enjoying Life doing whatever things I enjoy. Sounds good to me!

If I could re-create the giddy teenager feeling I felt when I met my 2nd husband, I'd call it love and go for it. 24/7 never was enough. -- but it seems all that comes my way is 30 year old Nigerians. So, I guess I'll settle for watching Big Ten basketball and letting my mind wander into the past at least 10 minutes each day.

Most important for me is my own health and wellbeing, and that of those, who are close to me. And I can do well without a partner

Ok so when I first read that, I thought it said possibly getting a horse! 
Lets just say, im more inclined to buy a pony, then get married at this point in my life. 
Doesnt every girl want a pony?  
I didn't, and still don't. I once sat on a pony, I'd rarely been so uncomfortable. WAY too close to the ground, haha. I got off, and got my bum on a proper horse. Much better! 
Ponies grow up, and they become proper horses!

Currently, focusing on where I want to live next, is the priority. Like your honest answer :) Where to live next is also one of my quests in life, haha. I haven't figured it out yet, at the mo it's also on the backburner for other reasons (my kids). Hope you find out where you want to go!

What's more important than love?
Love every breath you take cos you're alive. Love every meal you have cos you're eating. Love your shelter cos you have one. Love yourself cos it really is all about you. Love everyone around you cos we're actually all the same. Love a good coffee in the morning cos that **** is just awesome. (Even love the person who replies that they prefer tea...) Dunno what's more important than love.... |
