What most important to me in a woman: intellect, independent, self-esteem, compassion, loving and good heart. Once I fall in love with those qualities, a woman's body size does not matter. wow a man with a brain!! COOL!!! Thank you, Becca. You are very kind! Really, if we are to spend the rest of our lives with someone, wouldn't we want to be emotionally and spiritually connected? The physical condition does not last forever. |

I tend to date slimmer guys.. slim, but toned.
I'm not attracted to muscular/overweight types, i'm petite, I don't want my boyfriend to look like my bodyguard haha |

“There is no excellent beauty that hath not some strangeness in the proportion.” - F. Bacon
and I don't mean the "Hollywood" strangeness where it looks like the poor woman got punched in the mouth, made to wear a pool floatie under her blouse, and got picked up by the cheeks with a huge pair of taco tongs |

Is body size more of an issue with men or woman? Or is it more than just black and white. If you are speaking about what you are looking for in a partner, then I would have to say men are picker than women. If you are talking about issues with how they feel about their own bodies then it is women, hands down. You can thank advertising and magazines for that one. Why people even buy that crap is beyond me. Size 2 is not the "norm". I remember around 1997 or 1998 right after Titanic came out and there was some magazine that had a photo of Kate Winslet and Drew Barrymore and the caption read, "Is big in?" I just shook my head. THAT is considered big by Hollywood standards? Freakin' sad, man. I personally like women that are curvy or what I call "healthy". I could easily date a woman who was 200 pounds if she wore it well, had a cute face and had a kick ass personality. Personality, sense of humor, values, etc. weigh more with me than a "hot" body. Obviously I am not speak of "every" man or woman. You asked in general and that's what I responded too. |
