Every time I've seen Trump speak recently, no one has asked him about McCain. He brings it up himself. It's bad enough that he keeps berating the memory of a man he could not stand, even in death. But he's doing so with a series of shameful lies as well. For example, ...

(1) It was McCain's duty to give the FBI the Steel dossier when he received it. He is not supposed to go to the President as Trump suggested. He didn't know whether any of it was true or not. Let the FBI figure it out. That's their job.

(2) McCain certainly did not give the FBI the dossier to defame Trump in any way. One wonders what Trump would do if he got information that was showed someone was doing something illegal. Would he go to that person first? Or would he turn it over to the authorities? Would it matter whether he liked the person? If that's the case, what one then wonders what the President has told Vladimir Putin about information the US government has gathered about Putin himself.

(3) The Steele dossier was not used to initiate the Russian investigation, as Trump claims. That investigation was already well underway when the dossier surfaced.

(4) Contrary to Trump's claims, parts of the dossier have been shown to be accurate. Other parts have not yet been verified but may still be confirmed. And other parts will probably never be verified, as it would virtually impossible to do so. One can only hope that at least some of the dossier is false. But so far nothing in what Steele has provided has been shown to be untrue. So all we know so far is some of it is true and some of it we don't know for sure about.

(5) Trump did not sign the Choice bill for to benefit veterans. Obama signed that bill in 2014. What Trump signed was an extension to that bill.

(6) Despite Trump's claim that McCain accomplished nothing for veterans, not only was he one of the sponsors of the Choice bill Obama signed, he pushed hard to get it through Congress. And McCain was also one of the main drivers behind the extension to the Choice bill that Trump signed.

(7) McCain was, in fact, such a major force in getting the bill passed that the bill is named for the late Senator, along with two other veterans in Congress. But of course when the President refers to the bill, he only uses the word Choice. He obviously cannot bring himself to call it by the name of those three veterans because that would force him to say John McCain's name in connection with the bill. He cannot have his supporters be confused about this bill that Trump insists is his and his alone.

Disparaging someone over and over again, even after they've died, is disgusting. But doing so by telling lies about the man is reprehensible. And that so many die-hard Trump supporters prefer to believe that everything the President is saying about McCain is true is more than appalling. It is shameful.

The orange azz hole idiot doesn't realize he's already tainted to most of the USA. Not only will most of America stand for it. The great majority will cheer for it.
