The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Committee on Oversight sent letters Monday to White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney and Secretary of State Michael Pompeo requesting “documents from and interviews with personnel of the White House, Executive Office of the President, and Department of State” relating to communications between Trump and Putin".

McConnell: Enough Senate votes to reject Trump's wall move

"LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell acknowledged Monday that opponents of President Donald Trump's declaration of a national emergency along the U.S.-Mexico border have enough votes in the Republican-led Senate to prevail on a resolution aimed at blocking the move".


McConnell, who fell in line behind Trump despite his own misgivings about the declaration, said Trump will veto the resolution and that it's likely to be sustained in Congress. McConnell's remarks in his home state came after fellow Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul became the latest GOP lawmaker to say he can't go along with the White House on the emergency declaration.

All these pictures. Where are the thousands of immigrants that are trying to cross? All this wide open space. Somebody is lying. I wonder who it might be?

Again, I know they come to the border every day. But where are the thousands that Trump keeps talking about? As a matter of fact, where did the caravan go with all those thousands that were headed to our border? Funny how after the Republicans huge loss in the midterms, the caravan story just went away. Trump hasn't said another word about it.
