Sunday is considered Veterans day here in USA.
Some restaurants are giving free or discount meals to Veterans . Thanks to All the Veterans for Serving our Country !!  Past and Presently Serving !!

Y'know, it isn't why you're a veteran. What's important is the fact that you signed the line to put your life on the line in service to your country. It doesn't matter if people don't agree with the war or presence of military in another country. What matters is that you sacrificed your liberty, safety and time to be someone to take a stand as your country needed. To all my fellow vets, thanx. |

This is hard to fathom. My father was born in 1899 and was in a submarine in WWI. My brother was radio operator on a destroyer in the pacific in WWII. My sister married a pilot who bombed Tokyo in WWII. She is 93 now and pilot hubby is 96. I want to thank every veteran in every category for their service.
