That is a minor inconvenience. If you care about someone you will learn to take the bad with the good so my answer is yes.

Have you ever been in that situation? It was so bad, I considered hitting him over the head with a frying pan.
When we went on vacation, nobody in the house could sleep. |

To sleep with a lover, mate, spouse who Snores every night ? Yes, I have and will. I snore bad myself. I actually find comfort in snoring, it's a sign of deep sleep, restful sleep. Of course it can also be a health issue, so you want to keep an eye on it. |

I'm not sure, guess it depends how loud. I have always been hard of hearing, one ear moderately and one severely. So possibly I might be able to deal with it. But I'm one that needs sleep and I need it quiet(of my standard)and no lights. If I couldn't sleep sound I can't function right, so they'd need their own room.

If she's like me, there will be no problem at all. I'm a very light snorer.
I have a sleep tracking app on my phone, and it records sound, ultrasound, and movement to tell how well I'm sleeping. I can play the sound recordings back to tell if snoring or breathing has disrupted my sleep. Turns out I'm a fairly quiet snorer, and that I only spend about 1% - 3% of my sleep snoring. But....if she's like my father? Forget it. He was horrid. I swear he had sleep apnea but never knew it. |

Humm first of all if they snore that loud every night hopefully you found that out while dating them to make that choice..
And then hopefully that person would be made aware of what loud snoring normally means they could have sleep apnea and ask them to be tested mainly for health reasons... Actually if it was not for my brothers ex wife he would not have known how bad his was he was not getting the sleep he needed and it wears on the heart & body after a while... He now uses a CPac Machine every night after he had the sleep study done.. It is one thing that did make a difference for him... Not only did the snoring pretty much go away but his health is much better.. At times it takes the one sleeping with them to get them to have it checked.. Actually I knew a guy years ago that had it so bad when he fell asleep in his recliner and you was around he would stop breathing at times.. He went so long without help that it caused damage to his heart...He ended up having a heart attack and passed away.. So would I yes, one I'm a hard sleeper and if it was that bad I would be one that would be trying to get them to see a doctor for their health.. |

I would take him to a sleep clinic for a CPAP machine.

To sleep with a lover, mate, spouse who Snores every night ?
Depends on how bad the snoring is. Can I turn on an air cleaner and drown it out? Or do the windows rattle...in the neighbors house? And is it a new thing? Can something be done to change it? An old thing that I am now paying attention to for some reason? So...maybe. |

That is a minor inconvenience. If you care about someone you will learn to take the bad with the good so my answer is yes. I don't sleep well to start with..I have always been a very light sleeper (not a health issue, thanks, been checked out) *IF* someone was insensitive enough to be a bad snorer, and insist i stay in bed next to them...then I wouldn't be with them in the first place.. (we'd discuss this before ever living together) If the situation were reversed and they were a light sleeper, and *I* snored and kept waking them up...I wouldn't have a problem with them sleeping in a different room... It's about loving the person enough to want their best...and forcing someone to stay next to you when they can't sleep is *not* loving. |

Thanks for sharing, your response was very interesting! I t can be a real health issue for some that snore and you are right, they Should get checked out. |

My ex used to complain at me and poke me in the night because my snoring would wake her up. She finally figured out it wasn't me as much as her sleep apnea and her snoring that woke her up!!
