...Texas?

Have you noticed just how many there are? Not just in the forums, but outside the forums who log in to check profiles every few days.

Seems like there is a much heavier concentration there than anywhere else in the US.

There's a fair amount of men on here from Texas too. So why aren't the Texas guys scoffing up all these Texas women?

And if the Texas guys don't want them...

...then maybe I should move down there to test my luck.

Both. Plus this is something I've noticed over time, meaning years. A bunch of my old Mingle friends happened to be from Texas also.

Texas is a big state. I don't even live near there and many Texans write me. I'm sure there are many women who live in Texas with a better chance of you meeting.

I may not be able to properly explain the mindset.


But...
Texas is a fairly populace state,
with expansive geography.

ie: I kinda like Waco, Wichita Falls, etc...
But, i don't really have a reason to go,
unless I'm chasing a piece of tail.

Everythings better in Texas. I had to move back home to Texas because I missed it so much. Come on down and enjoy this great state. We could use more Good men in Texas.
Let see we could use more like ActionLynx, Greeneyes and MK2 here. Most of the guys I have come across from TX are scammers or jerks. Besides Rock needs some buddies to hang with in the corner when we have a Mingle2 meet and greet.

Texas might be big but Ontario is bigger. Over 1.5% larger. The population however is a very different thing. Ontario has 12 million compared to Texas at 28 million.

That is just just twice as many people -- in a smaller space. You think they would find each other. Instead I have more men from Texas message me than anywhere else on the globe COMBINED no matter which site I use.

I don't get it. There is an international border and a couple of thousand miles. I know I don't have the money to travel back and forth just to meet someone. As a pensioner I can't sponsor anyone to immigrate. And I am certainly not willing to give up my medical benefits.

So I put in my profile the age range I am looking for, no long distance and no international. But that doesn't seem to stop them. I don't think they even bother to read the profile. But I know I sure do. Why should I waste someone's time? Or my time?

I have been to TX. Looks a lot like Ontario or Manitoba. I've been to Austin, Dallas, Houston and Galveston and a couple of other places. All very nice but terribly hot in the summer.

There **are** a lot of fakes listed as Texas, but that's the case with everywhere else too.

It's just interesting because when I first joined Mingle and made friends here, 5 or 6 were from Texas!

Now I come back, make new friends, and once again a bunch are from....Texas!


Of course, there are others. One of my great laments is that all the best women apparently are at least 1,500 miles away from me.

I figure, if I were to move down to Texas, then at very least I would have a bunch of friends there already.
