I always was noticed by men in the past. Now, despite being nice looking and a very good person I find myself being ignored most of the time. I don't drink or smoke and don't hang-out in bars. Where does someone like me meet a nice man for dating and possibly more? waving

Get out socially where you might meet a man who you might be interested in. You will find very few of them in your living room!

Thanks guys! That's what I've been told. The problem is where do I go. I'm not the type to pick-up men. I used to work in a building with 3,000 people. I was out there everyday. No luck...what

Consider examining your own expectations and adjusting them accordingly.
Find your own serenity and build healthy self-esteem.
Realize that every person is their own identity.
You likely have admirerers that you have declined or dismissed without realizing it.
Examine your choices and see them in a new light.

visit a golf store and play dumb. Men like to blather on with all their "knowledge".

I have used the auto parts and hardware stores before too. But, I knew what I wanted and needed at both and knew more than some of the guys in the store so had to play dumb.
Not my style normally but, hey it worked and dated a guy for almost a year. (before he got transferred to another department)

There is a lot to be said for the image you project and the perception others get. Show confidence by holding your head up and looking around; smile and others will smile back. Having your head buried in a book or something will get you no attention. If you set someplace, make sure there are other seats close enough for someone to start a conversation. It seems that some men are hesitant to make that first move without a little encouragement and feeling that you are approachable. Be willing to make eye contact with people. If you see someone you are interested in, eye contact and a smile will go a long way. Don't be afraid to ask an innocent question or make a comment about something you are looking at; doesn't even need to be directed at a specific person. If there is someone close by interested in you, they have just been given the opportunity to start a conversation.

Online is not the Best Venue for meeting a Man.

There are oftentimes activities in a persons hometown where they can get
Out among people and maybe meet someone.

Online is superficial, many just look at photos and do hookups. Especially Date sites Not set up for Relationships.

Do not put All your Trust in meeting a man Online. Or only on One FREE site.

IMO

Depends on the kind of man you're looking for. If I were a lady looking for a man, I'd go to the auto parts store, hardware store, etc. It's easier for women to get men, but finding the right one is the tricky part.

There's always church as well.

I'm gonna go way out on a limb here,
and recommend that spotted_one, get
involved with activities at her local Senior Center.

Here's why...

For the most part, people at the center, will have
settled down in life. Sure, there may be a Hell raiser
in the crowd... But, most have calmed down.

And, while some may be out of an acceptable age range.
They will know tons of potentially acceptable guys,
for the OP (spotted_one) to choose from.

Try the VFW or Legion on Friday/Saturday nights. Those are the older people that still enjoy living especially if there is entertainment. Also some night clubs cater to the older crowd.

What do you do in your spare time? If its just sitting at home reading books, try a library. Visit museums or other places of interest

I like all of the ideas given. I do go to hardware stores and auto parts stores. I agree that this site is not the place to look for a relationship. I do hold my head high and walk with confidence. This seems to scare off most guys. I haven't been to the library or museum lately and will try those places too. I will have to look up any senior activities in my area and give that a try. smile2 Thanks for your suggestions and God bless!
