Topic: summer is fading. will it be a bad winter?

We got a lot of rain thus year in parts that normally are not that wet. Midland TX was green a lot this year. Omg!

Very mild on the Oregon coast this year so far.

You know what's funny? In all my years, I have NEVER heard an older person say "Yep, it's going to be a nice, mild winter this year.." EVERY TIME it's "Yep, it's gonna be a bad/ really cold one this year....."

It's okay for now I still don't like the damp cold that I had on Mackinac Island. Traverse City wasn't terribly bad. But I think I like the idea of having four seasons now. Especially where it's hilly and woodsy.

Eh if it gets bad i'll just crank up the 4wheeler and drive the ditches to work. But i hope for a mild one. I don't like the cold or snow.

Parts of Canada already getting snow...the grass is green outside my window... Hope it stays that way lol

Winter is currently fading for Mingle2 member who live south of the Equator. I'm sure that they'll return to this thread in six months to talk about their fading summer.
