Patience is hard work.
In some areas, I need more patience despite years spent developing patience.
And yet I feel impatient to be patient. spock

Thinking I can identify with that. My patience is running extremely thin right now. Thinking thank God for only ten more days.

Thinking... great it's such nice weather, my roses are flowering again!
Unfortunately it also means I have to mow the lawn again. I thought I was done with that for this year...

Thinking two more hours to go on the class, it's tedious and tiresome.

Thinking... great it's such nice weather, my roses are flowering again!
Unfortunately it also means I have to mow the lawn again. I thought I was done with that for this year...
now that our weather is cooling, i have new blooms on my hydrangeas. Its the first year ive gotten a second blooming out of them. hopefully this is the last mowing i will have to do...

My hydrangeas had a real tough time this summer since it was stinking hot for so long and extremely dry as well for a very long period of time. We didn't get to shortage of drinking water, but it got pretty close.
I think one of my hydrangeas died, not sure yet. But no second blooming, they barely survived.
It's nice to see some roses in my rose bushes again :) Not completely full up, just a few. The last strength they got I guess before they retire for the year, hihi.

And yes, that mowing... I thought most of the grass had died as well during that hot, dry period. I haven't had to mow at all during summer. There simply wasn't anything to mow. Whatever was left was yellow and dry, in between you could see the soil.
At some point people were advised to water their garden as we were going to get thunder storms and there was a high risk of fire. So in spite of severe shortage of water we had to water the garden before that storm.
Now the lawn is lush & green again, totally amazing!

Thinking dang, what did I do?

What? You tried pooring beer in the keyboard to replace the ink and now the keys are stuck?
Try rinsing it off with water, put it upside down and let it dry. Remember, no alcohol for keyboards! flowerforyou waving
Or chocolate milk for that matter... That's what I did the other day ohwell
Thank goodness my resuscitation worked out well!

drinker survival.

my hydrangeas have been thru falling shingles (I thought that would kill them as they looked burnt from the tar) as well as weed killer that wafted on the breeze to leave dead spots all over.

I was dern surprised to see the new buds.

I guess they're tough babies, hihi. Hopefully it won't get cold suddenly if they're budding!

ANd someone else who types "burnt" instead of "burned", YAY!!! I thought I was the only one left on the planet, haha.

I think my cat has a food insecurity.

When I put some (more than one serving) in her bowl in the morning, it is gone in a few hours. I give her the same amount in the evening. It is finished when I get up. She meows a lot in the daytime if her bowl is empty.

Three days ago, I filled the bowl all the way up, which is about 2 cups.

She hasn't finished it yet. what

Seeing more in the bowl slows her eating.

Thanks for the suggestion, but what I did is unrelated to my keyboard. tears

My cat is the same! I personally think that my cat just likes to know that there is food in his bowl all the time so he doesn't have to hunt for it! The strange thing is, if it sits in his dish for too long, he turns his nose up at it. Now I just have dry food in his bowl during the day but give him wet food morning and night. He's happy with that.

I only use dry food. This was an experiment after I was out of town for five days and she didn't eat all her food --- more in a big bowl.

Cats.

Paranoia is based on past situations. It can serve as a caution sign.
Paranoia is justified in some event/circumstances of relating with people.
