Thinking what a great day it's been for me. Finally sold off all my surplus furniture I had in storage and after 2 yrs it's now empty.....yay! No more storage fees to pay delight, like George Carlin used to say, you need to get rid of some of your stuff so you can make room for some more stuff.

Oh, I'm so mad... Sorry, but I need to vent!!! I experienced the WORST customer service the other day at a store in town. I don't want to mention the name because I'm not sure how I'm going to proceed. Friday evening I bought something from this store and paid cash for it. I took it home but found it didn't work. So yesterday, less than 24 hours later, I returned it and asked for a refund. The girl at the store told me "NO" even though I had my receipt. I then asked if I could get a replacement instead. She still told me "NO"! So not getting anywhere with her, I asked to speak to the manager and explained to her that I had purchased the item but it didn't work and produced my receipt. The manager just smiled and told me to my face that I was "out of luck " no refund! No replacement! Well, I tell you what... I am NEVER buying a LOTTERY ticket at that store again!!!

Thinking I've never had the chance to travel, but hopefully that will change in the next year. I'm the only one in my family who's never traveled.
