I don't think most people would if it came down to it.

Fence-straddling with platitudes, qualifications and variations of circumstances would still come down to "no".

I agree... it was sad enough that we had the formerly known "Stereotypical" homeless person... now it appears the majority of homeless people are families, not the so called "bum" so many think of when they hear the word "homeless"... Very Sad!!!

No ....

Like crystal .. I am not attracted to men who cannot stand on their own two feet and have not safeguarded their future ... .. I get that disasters and the unexpected can happen but that is what insurance and savings are for .

A man who chooses to be homeless clearly has very different values to me .. we would not be compatible.

Exactly! flowerforyou waving

I've met some women that are/were homeless because of problems arising from their divorce or breakup.
A mature woman that is forced to live with her kids is essentially homeless.
Women in battered women shelters are essentially homeless.
Homeless doesn't necessarily mean living in the streets in a cardboard box.

I maintain a home for myself but I am fully prepared to share it with the right woman, and have. When that relationship didn't work out, I wasn't the one that moved away.

I would absolutely share my home with the right woman again.
In a sense, I am looking for a woman that is homeless or is willing to become homeless.
If it is a good choice, "my home" becomes "our home" and that is the point of why I am looking for someone.
Since I am pretty happy with where I live right now, I'm not looking to move in with anyone. If the chance favors it though, I will consider becoming homeless to go live with her.

To ask someone that has their own home to give that up to come live with me is the ultimate sacrifice for dedication and commitment.
Its wrong for me to expect it from anyone else.
This is why I am attracted to women in 'temporary housing'.
I know I can offer them a loving stable home.

If she was homeless due to no fault of her own.. yes, if it was due to drugs, alcohol... no

Drug addiction, alcoholism, and a myriad
of other mental illnesses, are a plague among
the homeless.

Dating shouldn't even be a consideration for the
homeless.

They need to get their chit together.

I agree. For most homeless, I would show them I care about them, ask about their story, and help them by volunteering at an organization, but dating is just an added complication and probably is not their priority or mine.
