I do believe they can work.But it takes dedication.This also means,that either of you would go to the ends of the earth for each other.I traveled 8k to marry the lady i felt was the one,and i did,in fact marry her.But when i was violated by her other family members,she did not go to the ends of the earth for me,and there was several examples of this,of which i then knew the dedication and love wasnt mutual,so i had to leave & seperate.

It very much depends on what you are expecting from a relationship. Seems that "relationship" means different tnings to different people. Having a close friend that I would see every month or 2 would be an acceptable situation especially if we both traveled. It also depends on what time constraints there are. Can one of you get away for a few weeks on a regular basis?

It also depends on what you mean by long distance; a couple hundred miles isn't, a couple thousand is!

How about meeting for vacations or perhaps you both go south for the winter. So maany things affect the viability of a long distance relationship. Even airline cost and availability can fit in - if I or you could fly for the weekend and the cost was low, why not?

Oh honey, I am not racist...far from it.
I do volunteer work with immigrants, help them find resources and assit in getting settled.

But, I have known two men (aquiantences of my late husband) that sought out Asian women, because they wanted a submissive woman, and were finding American women to have to much strength and backbone to suit them.
Both of those women turned out to be more caustic and bitc*y than any American woman..and *far* from submissive.

You are free to spend you money how you want, of course.

But YOU sound"biased" yourself in that because ONE woman in America cost you a lot of money...so you think ALL women here are that way?
