I don't believe you had sex at 5 years old.
Its really not that important but she went down on me while I did the same to her. It wasn't intercourse but it most certainly was sex. |

this thread is full of more horseshiit than the stables at Churchill Downs... Stables at Churchill Downs are properly maintained by professionals. The horseshiit doesn't build up so there's not much at all. I'm happy you think you are perfect, its so sad I don't fit into your expectations. Thanx for maintaining your superiority over me. Perhaps you can take a hint from catinidaho "I'm not talking about this anymore." |

I believe you Tom, it is simply too much information and it is an age rated site.

Yeah, all my life I have had some pretty weird stuff happen compared to some of the people I have met.
When I checked into "A" school for Construction Mechanic; I arrived at 1pm (1300) on a Friday the 13th. I arrived 1 week early and was put in cubicle #13, bunk and locker #1313. Having arrived 1 week early, for a 12 week course, I was there for 13 weeks. When I was working on trucks, when I dropped a tool it seemed to always land inside the drain pan of oil or antifreeze. It would fall in such a way to bounce off stuff on its way, to land in the pan. I could almost count on it happening. Coming home one night in a snow storm on a 8 lane highway at 35 mph, I hit a patch of ice in heavy traffic. My car spun around twice, in the lane, with cars in front of me and on both sides of me and righted itself. I have flipped a coin and had it land on its edge more than once in my lifetime. I threw an empty beer can across the garage, aiming for the bin, and it landed on a 2x4 cross support in the wall directly behind the bin upright with the lable facing me. It didn't even wobble, just whoop, dare it is. At one time, I could lay on the floor and push myself up to standing position in one smooth motion. I could jump from my second story bedroom window to the tree and ride the branches to the ground. I did the Iron Cross for my gymnastics grade in Gym class in 11th grade with no training and would have got an A but I messed up the landing. I was a stoner, was high at the time and my Gym teacher and the jocks were amazed I pulled it off. I don't have to make up stories, weird stuff just happens. On the beachhead in Lebanon, we were working on the dozer. I slipped and fell and landed head first in a freshly opened drum of grease and got stuck. They had to pull me out before I suffocated. When freed, I wiped the grease from my eyes and face and said, "I feel like I was head first in a horses assss. We all laughed about it for a long time. |

Im a little surprised at some of the responses in this thread... SMH. as in for idealism, it changes as one gets older and goes through different stages in life. It does, usually thru wisdom. The intent is to find out how we deal with the differences of idealisms we see in others. Do we look for people with similar idealisms dismissing those who do not align with ours or can we accept those differences in others, especially other, younger generations that might not have had the same life experiences or teachings as we? There are a lot of threads concerning 'age making no difference' but I believe age does make a difference when considering the differences in idealisms. People that are open to others of different idealisms and can accept them readily are more likely to find capatability in people of younger generations. Personally, I can accept the idealisms of people in younger generations. I choose to seek out people from my generation tho. Not because I find fault in the younger generation's ideals but because I value the commonality of the ideals of my own generation. I am flexible in my ideals as well. Reasoning allows me to change my ideals according to what makes sense. I don't try to hang on to old ideals for the sake of preserving them. |

People that are open to others of different idealisms and can accept them readily are more likely to find capatability in people of younger generations. Tom4Uhere Idealism plays a part, but really its life experience is the main factor here in my opinion. once you get beyond the physical aspect of the relationship that is where a person idealism comes in. Personally, I can accept the idealisms of people in younger generations. I choose to seek out people from my generation tho. Not because I find fault in the younger generation's ideals but because I value the commonality of the ideals of my own generation.

But I agree with you on the concerns about age difference when dating. |

One has to study idealism from Plato to hegel to Kant to Berkeley to even grasp the basic meaning of idealism.
Well, you do and you don't. Studying idealism is different than understanding how ideals, morals and values apply to yourself. Many people have no clue why they value the things they value but they know when others do not value the same things. Some people can readily accept those differences, others have to discipline themselves to accept those differences and still others, can't accept those differences. I personally have disciplined myself to accept the differences. In my view, each person has their own reasons for accepting differences or not. How we accept or deny accepting those differences has a direct influence on how we socialize. It creates inter-personal alignments pertaining to the idealism we embrace in others. Our own idealism has a direct affect on how others embrace us. Being aware of those differences allows you to modify your behavior to achieve alignment. It also allows one to understand why our children and their spouses might do things that make no sense to us. When there is a disparity of generation between lovers, one can modify their own ideals to fit with the other. Failure to modify those ideals can cause turmoil in the relationship. In these instances, the ideal modification usually happens with only one of the pair. This causes resentment and most will argue that all they do is give and the other only takes. Unity requires a bit of equilibrium. Give sometimes/take sometimes, equally. |
