Okay.. Movies don't scare me... I Spit On Your Grave made me check the boys quite a bit though.. hahaha Sooner or later spanky, they will get you! Hun, I'm a child of the 70's. All I can find is the subtitled in English ones ;-( I don't watch sub-titled movies. Easier to read the book.

Soufie, you gotta check out a movie called Bad Batch. It's reminiscent of a 1980s thriller. Grrrrr. I can't find it free on YouTube, though there are a zillion trailers for it..have you a link? It kinda looks good and OMG Jason Mamoa! Don't know of a link. I rented a copy from Red Box. Only place i've seen it advertized.

There are quite a few female lead horror films. Final Girl - Poor quality copy on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EY75IFTiCTY Martyrs Final Girl was excellent, but by no stretch of the imagination could it be considered a horror movie. Secret (unnamed) government agency recruits little girl to turn into super assassin, after her parents are killed in a traffic accident. Pretty much a rip off of Point Of No Return starring Bridget Fonda, except they used a little girl, instead of a delinquent teen. Definitely a great role for Wes Bentley. I hadn't seen him do anything decent since Dolan's Cadillac. And Abigail Breslin is a big girl now! You should check her out in a movie called The Call costarring Hallie Berry. I don't know if Martyrs could be considered a horror movie, but it was definitely creepy. I watched it both in English and in French, and there were some things that didn't translate quite the way they should have, but that movie would be creepy in any language. Now, Ghost Ship would be considered a horror movie with a female lead. And then, there's the classic: I Spit On Your Grave (a.k.a. Day Of The Woman).

be considered a horror movie Yeah, I classify my genres different than most people. For example; Criminal Minds is a crime drama but I call it a horror show because murder is horrific to me. The Ten Commandments w/Charleton Heston is what I call fantasy. The Omen is also fantasy to me. Basically, anything that show depravity or abuse is horror to me. One film that is brutal and on youtube is The Seasoning House http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6z8bkB6Iag In 1996, in the Balkans, the population of a small town is slaughtered by a militia under the command of the inhuman Goran that abducts young girls for prostitution in a brothel owned by the cruel Viktor. The deaf Angel that witnessed the execution of her mother has a weird birth mark on the face and Viktor chooses her to do housework; to put makeup and drug the girls for the clients; and cleaning them up after the brutal encounters. Angel also sneaks between the walls and ventilation ducts during the night. Angel befriends the girl Vanya that knows the language of the deaf. When Goran returns to the house with his men, Angel witnesses one of them raping and killing Vanya and she revenges her new friend killing the man. Now Goran and his men are hunting her down and she is trapped in the house.
