it is so interesting how the underlying premise of taxpayer money is being overlooked ... Humm actually saw that part so is this about the taxpayer money or is it about the actions of a Dirty Cop.. It makes no difference to me who is paying the person that committed such an act of abuse...Instead it should be about what can be done to keep it from happening or what should be done to those that commit such a crime against a child.. Cause if it is about the Taxpayers money then I have a problem with those on Welfare just as much that is Taxpayers money as well~~ |

It's not the U.S. responsibility to take care of everyone. They are saying $35,000 is the average spent on each illegal child while so many American children are living in homes with only $35,000 as income. We need to send all these illegals home, secure the border, and let them fix their own problems. And while we're at it, why don't we just give back the Statue of Liberty to the French? Because based on everything you just said, this country is no longer worthy of her. |

I read it as an analogy of how unismple it is to choose between the WORSER of two devils, especially when children are involved. if you can stay in a place where your kids could be killed or cross into a place where you may be kicked back out or you MIGHT stand a chance .... most would choose to save their kids by taking the chance. and sitting on a train about to go over a cliff is one such analogy to illustrate separation of children how? what does unismple mean? as in would I stay in a place where my children could be killed or cross into a place where one might be kicked out for disobeying the laws, its irreverent Miss harmony. who said life was fair? it sucks that they live in a war torn country but its not America's responsibility to provide food , shelter, safety for everyone in the world, when America has her own citizen who needs food, shelter and other things to survive. Im going to tell a story to show you how liberal policies are ridiculous. In my province ( equivalent to your states) A meth person treatment is for free , their meth is free, their transportation is free, yet a cancer patient has to pay out of his or her pocket, is that fair? my tax dollars going to help out meth addicts, but not a cancer patient? back to the topic, while I feel bad for those who want a better life in america and has to sneak in, its not fair to the millions of people who want to come legally and has to go through all the red tape , background checks and vetting . we dont know who the illegals are, sure some are good people but some are not and that is the problem Ever heard of MS 13? |

It is about what he did.. based off the article... |

Right but taxpayers money go towards paying cops! She makes comparison. Humm just give me one profession there is not dirty people.... Still the article has nothing to do with how he gets paid or from who it is about the child and mother and what happen to them.. So guess one would rather talk about Taxpayers money instead of what actually happened within the Story it's self.. Yea that will really solve the issue at hand.. One can not blame a persons profession for the Crime they commit! No matter what profession they have or who pays them~~ "You do the Crime you do the Time" I assure you he will not have it easy in Prison at all.. Due to being a Cop and committing the crime against a child he has two strikes against him right off the bat.. And will be lucky to make it out of prison.. Where Tax payers money will pay for that too! |

And while we're at it, why don't we just give back the Statue of Liberty to the French? Because based on everything you just said, this country is no longer worthy of her. Because when the phrase "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses" was said it was said during the time where wait for it. Welfare programs didn't exist. Those Immigrants who came over, most of them were grateful at a chance to earn a living and be independent, some worked 3 jobs to put food on the table for their families. That isnt the same today , some are attracted by the state generous welfare programs if youre living in Mexico or Guatemala and you're not working for the drug cartel, you dont have the language or skills to compete for higher skilled jobs, or you're working agriculture and earning 15 dollars American a day vs coming to America working under the table or worse some sanctuary city where can get welfare, a subsidized apartment, food stamps total income 600 dollars American a month living standards 10x better than back home what would you do? I dont blame the immigrants for wanting to come to America, I blame the weak politicians and leftist whose policies made it easier for them to take advantage of the situation |

They came to me thru a non profit religious organization that helps newly vetted Americans get jobs an housing. They spent on average of 1 -1 1/2 years in a detention center while they were going thru the process of being vetted. 2 were a husband and wife who were separated for periods of time thru that. most had children. Now they are proud Americans and I was happy for them and to know them. In Cuba they were doctors, nurses, a barber, electrician, teachers. here I gave them jobs in a manufacturing plant I built. $12.00 bucks a hour And they were thrilled.. and worked their a*ses off to fit in and to move up. My point... what do you tell people like that when others are allowed to sneak in, bypassing the laws and the vetting process. And basically do whatever the hell they want. Hmmm. what do you tell them. |

explain to them not everyone has knowledge of or connections to a non profit organization that will sponsor them ... or explain to them how leftist liberal Democrat policies have made it easier for those wanting to come illegally possibly bypassing people who really need to escape an oppressive regime like you experienced under the Castro's. What it shows, that Cubans who came to America for the right reasons and channels that their lives are not as important as Mexican or other illegals wanting to by pass laws for the sake of a better life. Laws dont matter to those people. |

I don't know who is dumb enough to believe they aren't on welfare. |

Hmmm. what do you tell them. explain to them not everyone has knowledge of or connections to a non profit organization that will sponsor them ... The non profit organization did not assist in any way in getting them here MS.. They found their own way here. But they chose to follow OUR LAWS and become a citizen THE RIGHT WAY. That is why they spent the time in the centers. The non profit organization ( The Lutheran Church) was contacted by the U.S. Government to help people that were near the end of the vetting process and cleared to become citizens. The non profit organization was handed new Americans to assist in finding work and housing. They did not step in until that point in time. They had nothing to do with helping them get out or their countries. Cubans were just one of the approx. 15 different nationalities I interviewed. We hired people from Iran, African nations, Afghanistan, Latin American countries ect. All doing it the right way... not sneaking across a boarder. This organization is just one of many that help new Americans, you know.. ones who respect our entry laws. So again, what do you tell them.. the ones who do it the right way. |
