To be honest, I don't really care about the "thug" It's the attitude towards less well off people that amazed me! How do you know he was less well off. He had a vehicle and several guns as a teenager. That cost thousands lol. His dad could have been a big time drug dealer. The point is the boy wasn't raised to have any respect for the law or to be a product member of society. he did not have a vehicle, he was a passenger in someone else's car. There is no evidence he owned 'several guns' You cant shoot people on bigoted assumptions about what their parents 'could be'. You dont know how the boy was raised, because you know nothing more about him than your assumptions, its clear you havent even bothered to verify what you think he 'could be' even though its right at anyone's fingertips with computer access. we do know he was a teen, we do know he was in a car that had been shot at and the driver has not released any statement as to how that happened. We know that earlier someone was shot and that person shot at a vehicle. everything else is filling in the blanks to justify the cowardice of pulling the trigger on a teen who was running away from an adult with authority and a gun. |

That investigation isn't over. |

It's amazing how you are trying to paint a criminal as a victim.

Well.... He WAS brown after all..

If he lived with his parents, they've searched their home by now.

Well.... He WAS brown after all.. so nothing to do with the kid being involved in an earlier shooting? |

And people wonder why these kids turn out like they do. It isn't opportunity. It's their raising.

And people wonder why these kids turn out like they do. It isn't opportunity. It's their raising. this kid wasnt as much a mystery. he had sympathy and fear and a mom who he wanted to do right, but while she was probably WORKING HARD, like society insists single women do, the ENVIRONMENT had this teen pressured to go another way. ![]() I wonder why people turn out like they do too, especially the heartless and hateful. |

Kids can't learn the difference from right and wrong from parents who don't know themselves. When my son was 17 he wasn't glued to me. I had a 4 year old daughter and a 1 year old grandson to take care of. It's people like you making excuses for thugs is why it never changes. Because trust me, his mom knew he was a gangbanger.

I don't think it's genetic, although it might be.. Mostly the hate is passed down from parent or Uncle to child, and the cycle continues to repeat. I have faith that people like that are just dinosaurs, too stupid to find a tar pit to stumble into . They're a dying breed, and they know it. That's why they cling to Trump so fiercely. He's their Messiah, and they believe he will lead them to the promised land. The Dinosaur leading the dinosaurs. Eventually, they'll find a tar pit large enough to hold them all. |

See you are crying racism because you don't want to admit the black kid got himself killed. The police officer was only doing his job. Do you even care about the person this thug shot? |

Notice none of these people are protesting against gangs. Imagine being one of their kids witnessing mom or dad blaming the cop and acting like the thug is a saint. How can their kids turn out to be productive members of society? Being poor is the gov't fault and being arrested is the police fault. They grow up without any responsibility for their action. It's always blame somebody else.

Since you are speaking with such authority, I guess it's safe to assume that you've read the reports about the DNA extraction from the pistol grip of the weapon in question, and the final ballistics report is in, and it's been conclusively shown that that was the weapon that was in fact used in the shooting. Care to post those results? |
