Platypus, (it's the common plural here) are found all over Australia, but I haven't seen them here... however the kids and I spent many months, along with a whole township, trying to preserve a natural breeding ground and habitat in the Obi Obi Creek, in Maleny, from the Woolworths corporation, two years ago. If you google those key words, you can read the whole thing. ( We saw them there every morning, cruising around doing their platypus thing) |
