Better to wait for what? Me personally, i think the pros to dating/being in a relationship is always having someone there to share that emotional bond with. Someone to make you happy and make happy in return. The cons, possible drama or heartache or things not going well.

Pros to being single, well being your own person and doing what you want when you want without attachment. Cons I guess, being alone at times.

well i hardly ever single. but the pros about dating is you can date as many women you can you get experience.the cons of not dating i dont know i never thought about it. dating is fun

The biggest pro to dating would be in meeting the right one, and having someone to do things with. The cons are all the work it seems to take in finding just one person, plus the fact that so many want "perfection" versus human, and that's just ridiculous.

Pro for dating: can't think of one
Con for dating: watching a prince turn into a toad before your very eyes.

Pro for being single: Enjoying life and not having anyone trying to tell you what to do/wear/eat/act
Con: Sex is a little more rare... but other than that I can't really think of any cons...lol

Pro: It's fun

Con: It's expensive AND time consuming

Pro: Getting a free dinner.
Con: Having to pay for it without cash.

When I am single, I like to practice dating with more than one girl, so I'm going to assume that when you say "dating" you mean that in an exclusive sense.
...and I have noooo idea what you mean by "is it better to wait?" wait until you are married to have dates? what?

Pros to dating exclusively:
1. Greater opportunities to develop better sex skills.
2. A great opportunity to learn about love and intimacy and to discover new aspects of yourself.
3. Social validation from a conservative perspective.

Cons to dating exclusively:
1. Limited sexual variety.
2. If you pick the "wrong" mate, "it's easier to get into trouble than to get out of it."
3. Emotional investments may be horribly difficult to divest once the relationship is over, especially if you are male.

Pros to being single:
1. Unlimited sexual variety (you can play around with whomever you want without breaking any "rules")
2. More freedom/independence
3. More time to do other things such as the pursuit of passions.

Cons to being single:

II think like Chief in terms of dating. And I can't say I've ever dated that much. Once maybe, but the guy and I got into a relationship. Soo I'm interested in seeing what dating is like. So I guess I can't really have any cons of dating, but I can imagine what others have said is true haha.
Pros of being single? More time just to relax and hang out with friends. It always seems like there's some awkward balancing act that has to happen when getting into a relationship. The cons of being single for me is feeling empty...and then being consumed by self doubt.

Pro: it gives you something to do
Con: you might miss some sleep

Pros: Here are a few, the list is endless

I can eat the whole pint of Ben and Jerry's
I shave waaaaaay less often making for warmer legs in the winter
I make the damn dinner when I feel like it
Men are expensive to keep running correctly
I always get my way

Missing the touch, smell, feel of a man

*would have been 2 but I figured out the having nobody to shovel me out in the morning one, bought a 4 wheel drive truck...way less expensive and far more reliable

pro&con eh? the good thing about being single is that i can hook up with any pretty girl i meet at the bar later 2nite. bad thing is, it will probally only last the nite n ill still be sitting home alone 2morrow.
