adj4u, there you go agian trying to use logic on fanatics. Saddle the horses my friend we will be better off jousting with a windmill than to try to understand what drives the fanatics' minds'.
Their leaders know that the quickest way to unite the masses behind their cause is to give them something or someone to hate and a reason to hate. In this case the reason is any precieved insult to Islam and the who is anything that is not Islam. If Islam is really the religion of peace, where is the outcry from the moderates in the religion? I think their silence speaks volumes. |

the more of islam that i hear the more i think it is an out of control cult and not a true religion If you based that on everything you hear about it on the "news" than yes. Of course, if you base your views on christianity on the same thing you'd come to the same conclusion. Truth is though, it couldn't be any further than the truth. The media only covers the bad most of the time, moderate Muslims have been crying out for hundreds of years even though most choose to ignore the fact. Guess I'm lucky being in the city & knowing a number of moderate Muslims (Jumahs, Moores & a handful of five percenters), it's a shame so many Americans think Islam is what they see on TV, even more so is it a shame that they don't know the true definition of Jihad. The majority of Muslims are peace loving people dominated by crooked politicians in disguise as Muslims. And the more ignorant we get towards Islam in America, the more those politicians have grounds to turn Muslims against us. Holy war, by the laws of the Qu'ran, is only justified when the opposing regime is trying to destroy Islam or prevent Muslims from practicing their religion;^] |

i have said it b4 and here it is again
organized religion ====root of all evil if i remember correctly not all of the manson cult were involved in the murders neither all religion is a cult ----- it is just when it reaches a large enough number ---- the size apears to give it a legit status but a cult it is regardless |
|
|

as many """moderates""" as there is supposed to be
why are they not doing something about it if they do nothing about the radical then they are as radical as the fanatics to do nothing is enabling thus as quity as the doers |

Another myth busted. http://www.freemuslims.org/ Just because the media doesn't report it doesn't mean it isn't there;^] it is a very interesting video but the description says a lot ----------------- About FMC The Free Muslims Coalition is a nonprofit organization made up of American Muslims and Arabs of all backgrounds who feel that religious violence and terrorism have not been fully rejected by the Muslim community in the post 9-11 era. The Free Muslims was created to eliminate broad base support for Islamic extremism and terrorism and to strengthen secular democratic institutions in the Middle East and the Muslim World by supporting Islamic reformation efforts. ----------------- it does go further but they do noy even have there name on the buildings they have their offices in (according to the video) there are good in every group but the few here that are so afraid of the fanatics because they know what they will do will not even let people know where they are kinda puts the myth in a stronger light sorry it does not bust it |

Understand this lady may be whipped & put in prison, for allowing her class to chose the name Mohammad for a teddy bear.
The class CHOSE the name, she didn't know it was against the law. Is this fair? Your thoughts - of course it is unfair to a normal compassionate person. Most people would realize that young children will name a teddy bear by the name of something that is familiar or important to them. I understand the point about that was the place she had made home. As an ex Brit I shall be glad to know she is back in England - safe - I hope so. I am wondering what the little children think of this as well - they can get rather fond of their teachers particularly at a young age. Their 'reasoning' is that you can use that name for a person (man) but not an animal. |
