Hello Guys, We all are here for friendship, relationship, dating etc etc... but lets start a discussion whats the difference in love and lust and why we are here. Its a friendly approach please. don't abuse here From Wikipedia:- Lust is a strong emotion or feeling. The lust can take any form such as the lust for sex, lust for expensive objects or the lust for power. It can take such mundane forms as the lust for food as distinct from the need for food. Lust is a psychological force producing intense wanting for an object, or circumstance fulfilling the emotion. Love is a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection to pleasure. It can refer to an emotion of a strong attraction and personal attachment. Love can also be a virtue representing human kindness, compassion, and affection—"the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another". It may also describe compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one's self or animals. Why are we here? Maybe we are all lusting after love. Welcome to Mingle2 and good luck in your search. |

"Love is blind. Lust just doesn't give a crap."--Author unknown
I went looking for a source for that quote, and found this. It's from a woman's point of view: https://www.bustle.com/articles/7857-8-signs-youre-in-lust-and-not-in-love I still think it's only guys who lust, but whatever. Maybe it's mostly guys, and women are capable of it, too. |

for me
lust is purely a physical impulse, which can disappear as quickly as it appears love is an emotional investment, which endures through time |

I get flush in the face I stare and have not very appropriate thoughts about that person. That is how lust feels to me. I don't know about love because I don't think I've experienced it yet. The problem is I dont know if it will be after I get to talking to the person that I couldn't control my lust so much that I just have to talk to them about anything. That brings me to the question of "what is love?" and how will you know everybody says it will be like an instinct and boom you know.

Diffrence between love & lust... a friendly approach please
Lust is someone dying of thirst in a desert spotting a lake that may be too far to reach. Love is a sommelier chef preparing their last meal to take with an experimental cure that may not work. why we are here.
Biology mostly translated through social training as what will fulfill it to the highest degree, for the longest duration, requiring the least amount of costs, assuming the least amount of risk, leading to the fewest consequences, requiring as little responsibility thereby minimizing (or maximizing alleviation of) stress, as possible. |
