We dodged the ice so far........
Whuddya think of our new coach for the Razorbacks? |
|
|
|
we've dodged the ice but i see snow in the forecast for Saturday
i think the new coach is really going to help Arkansas out.when he was coaching Louisville lastyear they were 14-1 and they won the Orange Bowl.his overall record at Louisville was 41-9 which is pretty dang good.that was for 4 years |

Last night my car wouldn't crank so I called and the nurse came to my house and got me. It was an old battery when I got the car. Had to pry the driver's door open and the other doors are still frozen. Called my mom and she is going to see if my brother will come over to take me to Walmart to get a new battery. Luckily, I found out it wouldn't start while I was still at the house. The aide I was working with and her friend brought me home. I tried to start it when I got home but it still won't start. Winter is here, lol.

My brother-in-law came to get me instead. Went over to his house and he borrowed his friend's Cadillac. Got the battery in Flippin then went to the gas station to get gas but the Cadillac just coasted to a parking place there and died. Called the friend on the cell phone and he came to get us in his Blazer. Then my brother-in-law had me turn the key over while tapped on the cellenoid of his Suzuki Sidekick to get me home. The nurse called me into work and came and got me in her Ford Bronco. Then an aide and and her girlfriend brought me home in their Dodge Caravan. The I put the new battery in my Chevy Lumina car and it still won't start.

For real, dude. Put the new battery in the car and it still won't start. Brother-in-law said he will be over after he hauls the Cadillac off to the salvage dealer. Asked me if I wanted to come with him but I don't think I could take watching that 81 Seville getting compacted. It just rips my heart out to watch them crush them beautiful cars. I am glad mine is a junker 90 Lumina that looks like a cyclone hit it. I would love to get one of them big bandaids and put on the side of it that says ouch. I know vehicles have feelings too.

Have you ever had a chance to check out the salvage yard in Botkinburg close to Clinton? While almost all the other salvage yards were crushing theirs the old guy just kept parking his out in the big field. It is a beautiful old car graveyard. I am glad there are people who still feelings for the old beauties. It is a real treasure that you just can't see in the cities because of all of the ordinances. Some people just can't handle true beauty. It is just too much for them and they have to have them hauled off.

Nah never been to the salvage yard in Botkinburg but i've been through the town a few times.I know what you mean about crushing cars.there was a guy that lived just a few miles or so south of Eureka Springs and the cops made him put up a fense because the neighbors were complaining that all his old cars were an eye-sore,so what does he do?he starts parking them outside the fense just to piss the neighbors off
