Do you think a "Road Trip" with a person you have dated awhile makes or breaks relationships?

I can't say I would grade it in those terms... but there is nothing like getting to know someone else's habits and nature than being with them 24/7 for a week or more/so..

If it's someone you've dated a while i don't think it would break the relationship. I think you would definitely get to know that person hetter. Understand more about each other

Do you think a "Road Trip" with a person you have dated awhile makes or breaks relationships? i believe it does. traveling together reveals a lot about each other's quirks and craziness when living together is not an option. |

Do you think a "Road Trip" with a person you have dated awhile makes or breaks relationships? A campervan road trip for a few days should provide a good insight into any couples suitability, living in such a confined space together would be very illuminating for both parties, and certainly provides room romance. |

That "I've" dated a while? Neither. "Road trips" don't make my decisions for me. "You" as in general population? As in "do you think when people go on road trips after having dated awhile, that the road trip is a make or break situation for the relationship?" If the roadtrip is being used as an attempt to make up for poor communication in the relationship, then yes. I don't think "road trips" are guaranteed "make or break" events. But like most anything else, they can be if you want to see them as such. |

Do you think a "Road Trip" with a person you have dated awhile makes or breaks relationships? You don't necessarily have to be dating even. This could actually break friendships. |

When you travel with your partner, if both are compatible, the trip is pleasant. If you travel with a problematic companion, well that is a good signal that you need to reevaluate your relationship. By my own experience, I did not pay attention to this behavior. Huge red flag.

I think it has the potential to do either, make or break it, depending on how long the trip is. It's definitely a good way to see how compatible you are and if there are little things that bother you. And whether you want to continue with the relationship based on what you've discovered in each other.

I was trying to leave it open because over the years done varying lengths. I have even done bike hikes when I was younger and stronger. |

I love road trips and often jump in the car with nowhere to go and come back the next day or days later.
It offers me some kind of strange comfort and yes, would be nice to do it with a passenger. I doubt you'd get on each other's nerves and I think it's kinda groovy. |

Then , it would give an insight on what you both like. A trip along the Blue Ridge Mountains ( any scenic hy near you) over a week should do it.

This is very true also. And I have gone on a couple of road trips to conventions with "co-workers" from different agency's that actually went both ways. |

A road trip with someone you are dating gets be very expensive with the paying for 2 separate rooms every night True but there are hostels and cabins or campgrounds. I dated a minister almost two years and a couple times we went places and actually stayed in churches. Attended the event and drove back. |
