my idea of fun would be chewing gum and sticking it on my btothers head and mine...that time those gums were as sticky as gorilla glue we got our hair cut to remove it and some good old fashioned spanking on the behind

When I was young, I loved Dolls, Pretzels, Chickens Dogs & Cats.
I had no TV, not even a pushbike, but I had and knew how to drive a wheelbarrow .
My first rusty bike I got when I was 13..
As I grew up, I wanted to be a cargo ship saylor ..
That was against my mother's wish to become a Doctor, and against my father's wish to become a Lawyer.
Couldn't be any of that, so I decided to Join the Navy...LOL

When I was young, dressing like this was pimp. 
Hihi, I loved Miami Vice, but Don Johnson's suit  Amazing how that could be 'pimp' then and is so horribly disco right now.
Heck I ain't scared. I'd still wear that suit.
Okay... so if I'd say it's not only disco, but also a bit queer... would you still wear it?

We were so poor, for Christmas I got a phoneless cord.
(Boys now will never know the joy of holding one end of the 4' cord, and watching the phone receiver spin at amusement ride speed while their girlfriend talks about shopping.) |

When I was young .. the boys st school were always trying to look up my skirt .. they were not so bright .. at playtime .. most of the girls hung out at the jungle gym .. whereas the boys were too busy playing rugby 
boys will be boys even when they're grown.. they still would wanna look up your skirt and still love their sports

When I was young we had an outside toilet, winter was tough if you woke during the night needing it
When I was young we had a tin bath and the whole family would wash in the same water, at different times of course. By the time I got my turn the water would be grey and freezing. |

We were so poor... I and my siblings only got one toy each a year and that was on Christmas... it was a luxury that my parents could not afford but they saved all year to make us happy on Christmas day. |

By the time I got my turn the water would be grey and freezing. oh joe, we also had outside toilet but I grew up in the Philippines so no winter... I can just imagine how tough it was for you during winter... but hey if you gotta go you gotta go, right? lol I hope you were not always the last one to bathe thanks joe

When I was young, Dad played soccer with me when ever he was around. He was a business Man who travelled always. Great times with him as a kid.
Sadly, he passed away two months ago aged 78yrs. Missed the great times!! |
