Can you genuinely remove arguing from a relationship or do you believe arguing is a natural part of a healthy relationship? What happens if you find arguing detrimental but your partner finds it natural? What’s the difference between an argument and a debate? ************************************************ I don't like arguments, and EASILY AVOID at all costs such interactions . How I do it ??..SIMPLE...I PLAY the DEAF TRICK. I become on the spot and/or remotely DEAF ....That will upset the opposition more till he/she gets to the boiling point, where either GIVE UP, or continue to the next level called FIGHT... Study the behaviour and the ball is in your hand... Either fight to the last breath, or walk away before he/she may kill you. PS:...The DEAF TRICK works better & best with women. Specially when they almost finish raging about it, just ask them calmly ...WHAT WAS IT DID YOU SAID DEAR ?? CAN YOU REPEAT IT TO ME ??....Be very careful tho, make sure there are no guns, or plates around the scenes. ..." As a general rule, women's like you to listen to everything they are raving on about it "...Silly things included ...If you didn't hear them, or what they said, that's when they get really MAD and you hold the points on your favour.. MAKE SURE YOU CAN HAVE SOME WITNESS ??..IT HELPS LATER IN COURT ....Just in case . Me ?? ..I don't argue even if I'm right . I always make sure I have built my dog's house fully equipped with a bar-fridge & lots of beer, a comfy hammock and an alarm clock before I move in with her. I do this with my sister all the time she loves to argue and debate/ fight. I refuse to engage, don't like arguing with anyone. It works...she goes in the house and continues her rant by herself ************************************************ So it works I don't have anyone to argue with and to me is just perfect I'm not arguing even with myself either, Well,..Perhaps, only Sometimes ?? Simple things ya know, like Why did I did this or Why not, |

I dont think frequent arguments are healthy for a relationship, but I also dont think that the absence of arguments is the equivalent of harmony either. Some couples who favor non confrontation can end up with similar frictions to the argumentative couple. Silent resentment can be just as cancerous as loud resentment.
As with anything in life, its all about finding balance. I prefer the method of passionate disagreements where both parties air and listen to each other's grievances honestly without attacking each other's character or each others stance on issues.. And I do think it is essential for at least ONE person in that heated moment to be humble enough to absorb their side of the blame even if the other person refuses to do the same. Someone has to be centered enough to defuse the ticking time bomb in those critical moments before things spiral out of control. |
