I strongly believe makeup sex is important.. the tenderness and closeness in the bedroom helps break down barriers.. allows you to really talk and connect.... without it.. the healing process takes much longer...

Thaaaaat doesn't match my understanding of "make up sex."

As soon as sex gets to be an obligation to be suffered through, there's problems that sex makes worse.

Once you qualify make up sex as obligatory its already too late to actually help a couple get reconnected.

If you're asking about couples in general and not me, then only if she's attractive, willing to video tape it focusing on her, let me watch, and they aren't my neighbors or parents.

Otherwise I don't think there's a "should" or "shouldn't."
...Or at least I don't care if there is.



I think the only thing that makes a disagreement worse is people distancing themselves, then building up arguments in their own head to attack the other with to continue the disagreement, entrenching themselves, or just holding conversations in their own head filling in the part of the other person, leading to a false resolution.


That has more to do with the release of hormones that cause the "beer goggle effect" like in dating.
Like when a teenage boy sees a big breasted MILF and can't form a sentence. Can't really see the flaws because he feels good and horny.

Actual tenderness and closeness would happen when the other person proves they can see your point of view (and you can prove you see theirs), understand it, and respect it, even if there's still disagreement.


Maybe that's not a bad thing.

I think if you are both having make-up sex,
it is a validation of your feelings.

To me, sex is only part of the expression of love. It is not a tool but a joining of two people naturally. It is the closest two people can get. If you have hurt the one you love it is normal to want to show them that you still love them.
