Ladies 30-50...... what are your thoughts on dating a younger guy?
depends how much younger and the maturity of the guy. im 35 but think a guy 27 or below is too young for me
Even if the maturity is there?
im not sure i guess it would depend if there was a connection but I feel guys so much younger than would be at a different stage in life

IT matters more that our experience and values match
that is to say, in my thirties, it would be easy to imagine 'younger' men , in their twenties,, are still not that far removed in their experiences and values in my forties, that age gap matters much more and it is much less likely someone in their twenties is any type of emotional/intellectual/spiritual match not to mention, having a child in their twenties, and not being of the mind to get physical with anyone who isnt husband material, the impact on them having a 'stepdad' in their own peer group would be awkward and unfair I 'draw the line' at a seven year gap in either direction(older or younger) |

I also draw the line at 7 years younger. Dating guys who are in elementary school hasn't worked out. One of their parents always insisted on coming along

If you get rejected by women your own age, what makes you think an older lady is going to want you?

Too much younger or older (anything beyond say 8-10 years) and I feel we have very little in common.
To each their own, not really my cup of tea. |

I guess some like it.
I have seen a few on here who don't mind picking their " man" up at the H.S. school bus stop |

I didnt say anything about getting rejected by women my own age

I have dated both sides of 10 years. I my opinion it is the maturity that is the key attribute.
Some find it a turn on, some a turn off. society in general see it as a taboo. find someone in your age group with your level of intellect. |

I used to say 5 years either way. Then adjusted that to "1 yr younger - 5 yrs older"
Men & women of the same age in their 40s-early 50s aren't even at the same stages of life, let alone (much) younger men. You'd have nothing much in common, hence nothing to share. When more than 5 yrs older, they get too old in comparison again. +5 yrs is basically it for me. |
